Spacecadet has asked me to get everyone who was concerned about her know, that she was admitted to hospital last night. she is currently in MAU, where she will be for up 48 hours depending on how she responds to treatment. She had another chest x-ray and is on IV antibiotics and also a drip as she was dehydrated. She has asked me to say thankyou to everyone who was concerned about her.

Morning

Dang! Can't believe I forgot my camera to record our mumsnet meet up!

Spacey, I actually thought you looked rather glamorous in a sort of operatic-heroine-dying-of-consumption kinda way. Very disappointed you weren't in your PJs, though. Got the feeling I might have stayed a bit too long; hope you weren't too tired when I left. The clue was when you started groping for a word which turned out to be 'mumsnet'

BTW, NannyK I had sight of SC's elusive daughter who was rather polite to me. I guess she saves it up specially for her mum - typical teenager

nannyk · 11/01/2006 10:13

Spacey if you see this I'm aiming for the 1245 direct train, gets in at 1348. If I don't make that the next one is indirect but gets in at 1418 much earlier than the next direct one. Will ring you when I'm on the train. Have a restful morning (if thats at all possible with a 1yr old )

spacecadet · 11/01/2006 10:51

no probs mars
i got your email nannyk, great!
gizmo, lol@me being glam, if you can call greasy hair, trackie bottoms and a fleece glam!, I was only dressed though cos i had been to the docs, i nearly toyed with the idea of going in my pj;s, wondering if anyone would notice, you will be pleased to know that im in my nightie and dressing gown today and have no inyention of getting dressed.
btw, the dc's loved the chocolate cake, I also took great delight in pointing out to dh that someone who i had never met from mumsnet had brought me flowers..but he hadnt!
did you notice, he looked rather sheepish and kept out of the way

MarsOnLife · 11/01/2006 12:35

hope you're in bed spacey.

Hope all goes well with you and nannyK. Though personally I think she sounds lovely.

spacecadet · 11/01/2006 13:23

not in bed, bit hard with a one year old! not dressed though and lounging on the sofa!

spacecadet · 11/01/2006 13:57

no news from nannyk yet, hope she got the train.
dh is not at all bothered about paying a nanny if it means he doesnt have to take time off work, considering he finishes in a week and told me that his boss said he doesnt need to work his notice, im seriously furious with him, i told him last night we were getting a nanny and said but it will cost(him not me) and he said fine. im actually feeling pretty upset that he obviously values me so little

Caribbeanqueen · 11/01/2006 14:13
