have a few health threads going, it's been a long 2 weeks, I miss my kids so much it physically hurts :-(
The results from my lung biopsy come back tidal and with it a final diagnosis.
The front runner is neurosarcoidosis but the big c is yet to be ruled out.
So scared just want to press fast forward and get on with what ever it is. :-(

Hi all and a few more answers and many questions,
Newdevelopements - my back has started talking to me! It started yesterday during a dressing change, the to holes are turning out turns of puss and air and as they do, groan, bubble and whine at me, truly horrid.
The ultrasound should'd at the time last Friday, the infection was superficial,
So the I v antobitics should heal it, they are trying to work out what to do next, I have been on antibiotics 4 days now so should be turning the courner, the consultant team are all coming this morning to decide the next plan.
Still feeling very rough and managing tosleep on one side only, everything aches and everytime I move or breath deeper my back talks to me ! It really is one of the grosses things I've every experienced.

Sounds like a scene from Hogwarts! All oozing pus and air. Hope that the consultants give you some answers and reassurance today. Are you bored in hospital yet? All that strip lighting must be irritating beyond belief. I suppose when you're as ill as you've been you don't notice all that stuff but as you recover it will start to craze you. Fingers crossed for some good news today xx

magso · 22/11/2011 08:25

That does sound spooky!
It must be quite an achievment sleeping with holes in your back and lungs, O2 pipes up your nose and all the noise of a respiratory ward going! Hope that the holes in your chest/ back respond well to the ABs and soon quieten down again! Sending vertual Thanks to cheer you up! I know the real ones are not allowed).
Hope the decisions today get you feeling better. ( gentle hug)
