have a few health threads going, it's been a long 2 weeks, I miss my kids so much it physically hurts :-(
The results from my lung biopsy come back tidal and with it a final diagnosis.
The front runner is neurosarcoidosis but the big c is yet to be ruled out.
So scared just want to press fast forward and get on with what ever it is. :-(

You poor poor thing.

The tranfusion should help you feel a bit better. Hopefully these antibiotics will sort it out for you.

eaglewings · 27/11/2011 15:19

It's been nearly 2 months, you have really been through it. Hope the treatments work
Gentle hugs, ribs must be sore!

oxcat1 · 27/11/2011 22:01

Oh bu**er, LargeGlass! On the plus side, you will feel very much better after the transfusion, and the breathlessness should improve too. I was in hospital pretty much this time last year with exactly the same: collapsed lungs, infections in lungs and blood, and multiple transfusions. If it's any help at all, I'm so, so much better this year, and the whole thing feels almost like a bad dream. Fingers crossed yours is also soon behind you.

giraffesCantDookForApples · 27/11/2011 23:02

hope transfusion helps you are in my thoughts

magso · 28/11/2011 17:11

How are you LargeGlass? I hope you are on the mend

LargeGlassofRed · 02/12/2011 23:34

Sorry haven't been back for a while, still in hospital things have been going from bad to worse.
I haven't seen my twins now for four and a half weeks feel like my hearts breaking :-(.
The infection won't go out of right lung, so will probably operate Monday again, I'm having a central line put in tomorrow as veins keep colapsimg, also had ct today which shows problems with heart and bowel so have heart echo and camera up the bum thing tomorrow.
I have had sickness and runs for 3 days caused by antibiotics, they changed it to another that made it worse so back on original.
Have a awful fever, fast heart ect due to infection.

Sorry for the out pouring just need to get it down.
If anyone would like to say a prayer for me and my family, I would really appreciate it x

Oh Large glass! I am so sorry you are still not out of the woods! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I cannot imagine how hard it is to not see your children. I was told fast heart rate etc can just be part of being ill but it is sensible to check it all out. Hoping too for excellence in the staff trying to get you well. (Hugs)

cityhobgoblin · 03/12/2011 22:11

So sad to see you missing your twins so painfully , LGR , and going through infections & painful procedures .

Have seen a relative & couple of friends with sarcoidosis go through complicated times in hospital . I wish there was more opportunity for hospitals to help patients through the stress of their illness & the miserable aspects of being an inpatient .

Does your DP / DH / other family have no way of bringing your twins to visit ? Are there many practical problems , as so often happens when a parent is in hospital ? I'm wondering if your council or Sure Start can help , or if any of us live near & could help in some way , such as with lifts ? Please say if that , or other help , could help you cope at this horrible time .

Been thinking of you since you started the thread & will pray for you & your family xx

Methe · 03/12/2011 22:14

My three older children are visiting today, I can't wait! The twins aren't aloud to visit as too young :-( . Dp has been sending me videos of them though which I blub all the way through.
