have a few health threads going, it's been a long 2 weeks, I miss my kids so much it physically hurts :-(
The results from my lung biopsy come back tidal and with it a final diagnosis.
The front runner is neurosarcoidosis but the big c is yet to be ruled out.
So scared just want to press fast forward and get on with what ever it is. :-(

Am so glad you have a diagnosis and hope the treatment plan gets put in place soon and you begin to feel better x

WorkingItOutAsIGo · 17/11/2011 11:51

Meant to say have three close friends/relations with sarcoid and once it's under control they have all done really well.

cityhobgoblin · 17/11/2011 18:31

Another one been following thread & thinking of you . Am in awe of all you've been through , & the delay in X raying you a few days ago is shocking .

Wishing you strength to express pain / worry to staff very persistently if they're dragging their heels again ( as if that feels easy when you're in pain & feeling so vulnerable ). Hope this leakage is sorted out very shortly xx

magso · 17/11/2011 21:09

Another very gentle hug from me! Hope you get a better night tonight.

oxcat1 · 17/11/2011 22:53

So glad that you've got a diagnosis, but so sorry that things are still so tough for you. Thinking of you and hoping things start to improve.

LargeGlassofRed · 19/11/2011 06:33

Xray showed large masts in upper right lobes, could be fluid but looks more likely to be mases.
Went for an ultrasound to check in they said very unlikely to me fluids probably be massed too.
Waited for a dr yesterday, but was told it would be early this morning

Oh large cup :( I hope that you do get some news that its just fluid and that you get some relief soon.

essexgirl31 · 19/11/2011 07:07

Oh LargeGlass you are really going through it. I hope you see the Dr this morning and things are sorted for you.

Thinking of you

Grockle · 19/11/2011 07:09

Bloody hello, large glass... Ive missed this theed and lots has happened. So sorry you've been so unwell. How are you coping? X

toodles · 19/11/2011 07:17

Just read this thread Large and I'm sorry to hear what you've been through and going through. I've had sarcoid too but nothing as serious as you. I was discharged from consultant 11 yrs ago. I only ever needed prednisolone (sp.) for around 18 months. Hope they get it under control soon for you.

magso · 19/11/2011 10:19

Oh Large glass! How is your breathing now? It sounds like your lungs did not take kindly to being poked around to put it mildly. Is there anything we can do? (hug)

RichTeaAreCrap · 19/11/2011 10:37

Large, so sorry to read your updates, I was really hoping you would be home and recovering by now. You are really going through it at the moment and you must be really anxious and fed up.

I hope the Dr's see you today and brings you good news. Thinking of you.

LargeGlassofRed · 19/11/2011 12:40

Thanks all, the doctor fllted in this morning and said he didnt have the results of the ultrasond but would chase them up, I said they thought it wasn't fluid there but calcification?
He said probably just some more calapsed lung tisseues.
Feel dreadful, sleepy fed up :( ;(

Feeling Angry on your behalf that the Drs are taking so long and :( at your continued pain and unknowingness

giraffesCantDookForApples · 19/11/2011 19:13

Sounds so frustrating when they can't make their minds up about whats going on!

WorkingItOutAsIGo · 20/11/2011 17:25

Bless you, just focus on resting and your body will begin to heal itself. It knows what to do, even if it doesnt feel like the doctors do.

giraffesCantDookForApples · 20/11/2011 23:14

How you doing?

essexgirl31 · 21/11/2011 06:23
