Need to start my scrapbooking!! This mumsnet is changing my life,stopping smoking,scrapbooking,whatever next!!!

nota, i've just started scrapbooking too. It's great for not smokine, too, cos you keep your hands occupied. In the middle of doing a LO now, in fact. But, as per have been horrible enticed onto MN. Aaaaaaagh

evans-i will be kept busy doing this scrapbooking all year as dd is 6 and ds is 1 so loads of decluttering to do.(6 years ugh)
It will either go in the scrapbook,recycling or bonfire and my house will be calm and i will NOT be a smelly drug addict!

you'll be pleased to know I've had a change of plan. dh still has loads left so I gave up on boxing day. still feel something is missing all the time.

Took ds for MMR today.In the clinic was a huge very detailed poster on what cigarettes do to EVERY part of the body!!!!!!! it was amazingly horrifing,i would like a copy for my study(god that sounds a bit posh-we r not!)

I posted on here before Xmas saying that I was giving up in the new year (not as a resolution just as something I want to do) and I am going to the stop smoking drop in on Saturday to collect some free patches and then as of Sunday I shall officially be a non smoker, I'm even counting down the days on our notice board.

I'm pretty hopeful about this attempt, last year I managed a couple of months but then I was planning my wedding, moving house, got made redundant, started a new job and then found out I was pg and finally cracked on my wedding day of all days. This year will be much calmer for me (even with an 8 week old) and even if its not I feel even more geared up for this than I did last year.

Good luck to anyone else about to quit or who already has. I will be popping on here quite a lot I think.

watched it too last night, couldn't believe what a tit she made of herself. but yeah, denial in the ery strongest sense of the term. but the sophie whatsit reminded me of myself, what with her addictive personality problem, and security blanket and last of the naughty things to give up etc. it's hard. i feel really lonely. how sad is that...

day 4. hate these lozenges, tho they are no doubt helping. but there's nothing satisfying about having a lozenge, unlike with a cig. i REALLY miss it. but hoping it'll go soon.

I've had a bit of a full on stay with my mum. She took dd and I to the panto and to the sea and there was about 6 inches of snow everywhere so dd's snowman addiction was thoroughly satisfied BUT I'm so knackered. Now gearing up for dd to start at Big School a week on Friday ... gulp ...

It was a stopping smoking programme with Tara Palmer-Tompkinson and Sophie Anderton trying to quit.

And as we all know TPT has too much money-and not much else

Did massive houseword, without getting too short of breath (i've got a way to go yet, but i definitley felt better than normal!), and have just cokked a yummy chilli which tastes gorgeous. hgave only had 2 lozenges today and feeling rather chipper!!

Happy to be here, for the first time since i stopped. HOORAH!!!
