peters vad site is leaking a lot of fluid. indication of bad infection, he has pain in his back and feels rotton. swabs have been taken. am hoping infection doesnt get a grip too quickly as last time it set his ICD off 5times in 24hours, and its horrible. i have to phone in the morning to find out whats happening and if i can take the kids in or not.

i'm glad i didnt get the message. he is in a bad way and even tho we didnt chat much as he was exhausted and in pain, i think he was pleased to see me.

me too. he was crying when they were packing the wound, sop was i. it was so painful for him. he is not looking good.

I assume they're cranking up the pain relief when they're doing the dressings?

not sure, i arrived just before they started. they did say if it carries on with the bleeding they consider knocking him out, because its movement of the vad which is attached to his heart i;m not sure if the pain releif would work.

just want that transpalnt to happen soon before we crack up completely

Glad you missed the text though, even just to have a few mins together, I'm sure he'll keep you in his mind's eye when he's resting, and think about all his girls ! X

dw is going to Brent Cross now to assist the both of you with a tiny bit of retail therapy. She says she knows what to get (I'm crap at this sort of thing, LOL). Keep an eye out for something to make you smile, and let P know something should land in a few days.
