peters vad site is leaking a lot of fluid. indication of bad infection, he has pain in his back and feels rotton. swabs have been taken. am hoping infection doesnt get a grip too quickly as last time it set his ICD off 5times in 24hours, and its horrible. i have to phone in the morning to find out whats happening and if i can take the kids in or not.

I've only just seen this - thinking of you all

Charlee · 14/11/2005 05:36

oh sh*t misdee what more can life throw at your family? im thinking of you all, its just not fair for someone to have all this to cope with and ou have every right to feel like crap, all i know is that when i was really ill i know its nothing compared to Petes illness but the fact that my dp visited me made me feel so much better. and i was also glad that when he was tired he didnt come in as i wanted him to rest. anyway i just wanna say you and Peter and your families are so strong and i really admire you all. I hope things are looking up soon xxx

hub2dee · 14/11/2005 07:45

dejinglejags · 14/11/2005 08:13

Misdee you are an inspiration - don't be too hard on yourself.

I don't have any adequate words, just wanted to say that I hope Peter recovers from this setback soon.

love
dejags

Yes, this must be very scary, Misdee. Have you been this frightened before? Are you on your own?

hub2dee · 14/11/2005 12:58

Well, he's been a tough old goat to date, misdee !

I hope there's a swift reaction to his treatment this afternoon / evening.

X

misdee · 14/11/2005 13:05

i need a babysitter for all 3 girls, no milk expressed and dd3 refusing formula, so cant go.

fullmoonfiend · 14/11/2005 13:14

Hugs misdee, don't know what to say. x

hub2dee · 14/11/2005 13:18

Would a sitter / nanny be able to take the two oldest, and you haul dd3 (attached, LOL) to the hossie ? (We can raise money for that if it helps)...

Or could one or two people look after them at the hossie ? (Maybe we can put a shout out for anyone who lives nearby IYSWIM, or who aren't too far.... or I'll help hunker out, or whatever)

Just trying to think of a tiny way we could give you a small break.

Hoping for good news soon.

misdee · 14/11/2005 13:23

if he is on barrier then i cant take dd3 in anyway. dd1+2 are unsettled and i loathe to leave them with ayone other tyhan family atm (who are all busy today) but i have lift arranged for tomorrow, my dad will look after dd3 in the grounds, dd2 will stay with nanny at home, nanny will also pick up dd1 from school.
