Glad DS is on the mend!!!

Like I say we were told that had we been in Britain when DD contracted meningitis then she probably wouldn't be here today as the rash was the last symptom she had before she went into a coma!!!!!

Although it was scary being in Spain when something like this happened, I think had we been in Britain I would have been telling everyone a very different story!!!

We still believe to this day that someone (up there) was watching over her!!!!

I understand that meningitis can be really hard to diagnose because the symptoms are so vague, and so common to other conditions. The rash doesn't always appear at all, and if it does, it's already late on, isn't it?
