caught up.

brians parents: fuck the fuckety fuck right off!

i'm all shaky from adrenaline. my friends little boy didn't want to leave and totally kicked off - not at all like him but he just lost the plot refusing to move, kicking and lashing out and screaming when she tried to get him etc. in the end i said right are you going to get up or am i going to take you? and i caught hold of him and carried him into the hall and had to gently restrain him whilst she got his shoes on and hold his legs to stop him kicking the shit out of her and then carry him out to the car whilst she got the door open.

hope i didn't do the wrong thing but she was getting battered and upset and kind of reeling so i got involved and helped.

was miss calm and collected whilst it all went on but now have the post adrenaline thing going on.

bizarre.

ds watched it all and when i came in and closed the door he said, oh good my headache is gone now x isn't here making all that silly noise Grin

hope my friend is alright driving. never really had to firmly handle a child before but he was way past sense and reasoning and really laying into his mum.

long, boring, sorry but needed a little vent.

pass the baileys please! preferably with a slug of cointreau in it

Sounds like you did exactly the right thing Satan (words I never thought id hear myself say! :o)

Well done you. It can't have been easy.

SantaIsAnAnagramOfSatan · 27/11/2010 19:50

it actually was easy.

weird thing is, despite me being a neurotic mess over day to day simple things, in a crisis or a action needed mode i just go into this zone and manage the situation, know what to do and get it done type thing.

then afterwards i second doubt myself and worry if people are going to hate me because i took over and was assertive and they'll think i'm a bossy cow or something.

sounds stupid and probably haven't explained it well.
