BrianAndHisBalls · 29/11/2010 17:39

or kill two birds with one stone and tell dd1 that you're not going to the meeting because she's not going on the school trip because of the way she speaks to you.

my cat did that saf, followed us to the park when we were walking the dog. Got scared by another dog and vanished. Got a phone call 3 months (and many fliers) later to say someone had her.

Was worried sick during those 3 months though. In fact its a bit like you'd feel if your child was missing i'm sure.

Grin sorry i couldn't resist.

ok.

i'm not speaking for anyone but myself here and i don't mean to upset people but i have to be honest.

i can't condone of child abuse and neglect. i can't pretend it's ok and chit chat and laugh about whether to leave a 5yr old girl alone with an abusive passed out man with a history of violence and inappropriate, to say the least, behaviour.

i could handle helping someone get out of that situation or who had gotten out of that situation but i'm not equipped to deal with people who are choosing to stay in a situation without plans to leave and are, imho, willing to neglect their child's welfare.

i'm very sorry hamster but i can't chat with you. i cannot condone of you letting your children live with this man let alone leaving your children alone with him and it makes me horribly uncomfortable hearing about it.

in real life - total honesty here - i'd report you to social services. this isn't 'real' life in the sense that it is anonymous but i can't talk to you other than to advise you to leave and support. can't chat to you as if nothing is happening.

sorry.

need to be honest.

can't post on this thread anymore if you're around.
