Well, I'm hopping.
BTECs were legally allowed to be released today.
DS1 was in a class of 7, doing it. DS emailed his course tutor this morning, who said he'd email later. We heard nothing today so went for a drive at 3-ish, and DS couldn't get data. Got in at 5, email entitled 'Results'... and a message from one of the three who are uni- facing (all the same uni), saying he got DDD!! The email from the tutor said 'call me', which DS did- but the tutor won't tell DS his results. Apparently he's been told he can't now release the results til tomorrow. The 3rd uni candidate was told the same.
So one of them knows he's in uni, with a DDD scholarship of £1500, the other two have to now wait til tomorrow when the tutor will email them....
Don't bother, mate. Let's let the uni/ UCAS tell us.
Take home message: If you stray off the golden, palm strewn path of GCSE/A level/ Uni- which DS did by effing up Y1 sixth form and restarting- you're in a parallel universe where The Rules do not apply. 🙄
