DrP I think you are in a very common position, in fact it took til nearly the end of that last post for me to be sure you're not my DD! (You're not, because she hasn't bought hair dye this week) You are allowed to feel anxious and worried, you've put in a lot of work over the past 2 years (I assume) and you want to know that it's paid off. Even if you don't need these results for your course, they're still important exams that you want to do well in. That's normal, don't beat yourself up about being worried, almost everyone is. I'm a teacher, so I know a LOT of teen-agers, and I don't know a single one who hasn't been nervous about getting their results. I do know a few who do a great job of acting like they don't care but they all do really.
In case anyone is wondering, dd's bedroom now looks relatively decent, she found enough floor space to vacuum. She's been up since 8 because we weren't given a time for the bed to be delivered. The bed is not coming today! We got an email at 4:30 to say it will be delivered tomorrow, after we waited in all day. We're busy tomorrow, so I've had to ring up and rearrange delivery for Thursday (this is stressful because I don't like phones!). DD thinks it was a cunning plan by me to get her to tidy her room.
