Good morning all. DD just had her first choice place confirmed (Bath, civil engineering) so we are all delighted. Their offer was A*AA and it will be interesting to see what she actually got, as she has never been convinced she did that well.

I hope there is lots more good news to come for those who are waiting.

No idea of grades, but DD is in at her firm choice. She had a text first, then found an email in junk. Now confirmed through tracking. She now finally believes it

Much to his and my surprise, DS1 has a place at his firm choice according to UCAS Track. He can't quite believe it's true and is waiting for a confirmation email.

DS has had an email so he got his offer. I'm trying to lure him out of bed with offers of the local eatery for breakfast but I may need to pour water in his bed to get him out of it. College has been open for two hours, all the best results will have already gone! (I wanted to go early to miss the traffic but we've already passed that window of opportunity)

Sorry to hear that Majestic. I hope in 3 months time whbe she is settled at uni surrounded by lovely friends that she looks back to today and is relived she ended up where she is

Yay. Ds1 has been confirmed. Vet med here he comes! Congratulations and commiserations to all.

DS1 is in- knew he would be as he's BTEC so knew his grades as he went along BUT he wants a scholarship worth £1500 so tho he only needed DMM, he wants DDD! Also one of his mates got DDD (eff-up at college where the tutor gave out a couple of results then stopped, saying Pearson had sent another email telling colleges NOT to release til today, contradicting their own website diary...🙄) so DS is very keen to match his friend!

But at least he's in!!

It look like DD has an offer for a different course at her 2nd choice uni - so all is not lost. I'm not sure if she will accept that or go to clearing. I don't know if she goes into clearing if that offer will disappear?
