It seems i'm the first. So this is me...

I'm 26 and have 3 girls aged 5, nearly 4 and nearly 1.

DH is in the navy and we are currently living on a married patch in redruth, cornwall. Though not for much longer. Due to the serious mining issues on the estate we are having to look for SSAFA (private rented in Redruth.

DH works on the Merlin's (helicopters) at culdrose and is an LAET.

Anybody else out there?

It's the irish in me i always bite but it is all harmless banter i'm just getting all excited about a visitor !!!

mylastrolo · 20/06/2007 20:17

My d/h is good a preaching about being tidy!! he will complain that i will have the kitchen cupboards rearranged by the time he comes back. I never put anything back in the same place twice. My neighbours both in military everything so regimental.... so wish i could be like that there life must be so stress free as i spend half my time looking for everything.

mylastrolo · 20/06/2007 20:18

lol off to watch tv and have another glass of wine and write long list of what i have to do tomorrow day off ( go to work for a break) how sad am i

ForcesSweetheart · 20/06/2007 20:28

Hope you both have great time with your sisters. I've just got back from spending over 2 weeks with my mum and while it was lovely I am SO glad to be home.

No point envying your neighbours lifestyle rolo, they're probably sitting at home envying how un-regimented yours is. My new neighbour is the RSM of the PT College so is all hard bodied and athletic and I'm a fat bloater, while I'm envying their athleticism they're probably envying the way I stuff cream cakes down my neck without caring.

Wish DH would do our ironing, but as it is he only does his own.

Hi. I am a SAHM to 2 ds's. My Dh is in the RAF at Brize Norton. Please don't even mention the state of the married quarters! Lol!!!

madge7 · 22/06/2007 15:48

Hellllo, I am a Navy wife, were over in Gosport in Q's.

I'm not a Mummy, yet - were trying to adopt thru SSAFA at the mo, hopefully not too much longer!

Hi to all!

Pixiefish · 22/06/2007 15:54

Can I pop on and off quickly. Just to say hi. First dh was RAF- based in NI after we married but I stayed home in Wales. He also served in Iraq (first time round), Bruges, Germany, Brize, IAM- can't think of anywhere else.

present dh was in the RAf although he's not now.

He was based in Scampton and was an aircfat engineer ( I think- he worked on the planes engines) He's deaf as a result of not being given ear protectors but hey that's life isn't it. He did time with the Red Arrows as well during the summer months.

HomeintheSun · 22/06/2007 17:52

Marmite, do you work out here, before my DS was born I worked full time and now I feel like I'm not myself and have no purpose apart from feeding, changing and playing with him, quite down sometimes, although the Med Centre here have given me pills for that.
