It seems i'm the first. So this is me...

I'm 26 and have 3 girls aged 5, nearly 4 and nearly 1.

DH is in the navy and we are currently living on a married patch in redruth, cornwall. Though not for much longer. Due to the serious mining issues on the estate we are having to look for SSAFA (private rented in Redruth.

DH works on the Merlin's (helicopters) at culdrose and is an LAET.

Anybody else out there?

My bf isn't in forces but works for US army in Iraq. Leaves July 23rd though thank God and we're off to Texas to meet the folks!!

Just thought I'd pop in as I worry like a lot of partners and wives do especially as he drives trucks over there.

Hello all! Another Navy wifey here. Pompey based this time
Cant complain too much, DH is currently instructing at Collingwood so will be home for the next year

My husband is in the Royal fleet Auxillary. At sea at the moment for 4 months. Sometimes comes into Portland or Devonport. Miss him getting up with DS at 5.30am.

I knew this when I met him but definitely harder since ds came along. He just got turned down for promotion which I was thankful for as he would be away for up to 8 months which would be awful.

Hello all!

DH is Navy and currently teaching at Raleigh. Hopefully this will be his last ever draft as he will be retiring in August next year!

We are in SSAFA in Plymouth and very nice it is too.(Picked it myself!) Although I do miss the fantasic MHS!!

I have DSD 17, DS 3 and DD 2 and baby due 1st Oct.

Would love to buy our own house, but we're not sure where we will end up after DH retires. Ideally would be in Cornwall, but not sure there will be work for him.
