Mumsnet Village Show - An Afternoon Tea Tray for One

So here we are again.

So far the rules are:

Tea tray for one

Can include anything you want suitable for a summer high tea (sandwiches, scones, cake, biscuits etc) with suitable cutlery and crockery and the like. (Silver service if you are terribly posh)

Five quid budget (on top of what you already have in your larder).

SlightlyMadScientist is the judge (heaven help us...is she properly qualified???)

Oh and all entries will be anonymous this time (A, B, C etc).

Time limit is 9pm next sunday so we can be judged before bed time.

The rules will obviously be bent or completely ignored but so long as its tea ish then anything goes.

Still no one has told me what a gimpdoll is, am I missing something?

Bread is a bit dull, why don't we do a cake/pudding of choice? Then I can do one I made earlier as I'm too busy to do anything new this weekend.

Tigi · 03/07/2007 22:52

well, you would be happy with a virtual one wouldn't you, after all, you had a real one in the post before. I didn't.

Slubberdegullion · 03/07/2007 22:53

Tweedy! Wherev'e you been, asleep under the table all evening. I was just about to make an executive bread decision.

If you're busy do you want to be judge?

OP posts:
Tigi · 03/07/2007 22:53

Mrs Tweedy I've already told them bread is dull, but they won't listen. What are your baps like?

Tigi · 03/07/2007 22:54

Perhaps we should sing a rousing verse of Jeruselem again to wake them all?

Slubberdegullion · 03/07/2007 22:54

Tigi, If you win , I'll make you a rosette. It'll be paper/card mind. But I will put all my creative skills into it.

OP posts:
Slubberdegullion · 03/07/2007 22:55
