Mumsnet Village Show - An Afternoon Tea Tray for One

So here we are again.

So far the rules are:

Tea tray for one

Can include anything you want suitable for a summer high tea (sandwiches, scones, cake, biscuits etc) with suitable cutlery and crockery and the like. (Silver service if you are terribly posh)

Five quid budget (on top of what you already have in your larder).

SlightlyMadScientist is the judge (heaven help us...is she properly qualified???)

Oh and all entries will be anonymous this time (A, B, C etc).

Time limit is 9pm next sunday so we can be judged before bed time.

The rules will obviously be bent or completely ignored but so long as its tea ish then anything goes.

LOL at Roast dinner. Dh will have a fit

"ffs woman it's bad enough that you've been photographing scones from all angles and made me photograph you sifting flour out of the spare bedroom window (not to mention the calender girls shot of your bare arse taken whilst vsc making ((he vitoed it)), but now you are preventing me from eating my roast beef because you want to take it out into the garden to put it on a doily in amongst the roses"

My marriage would be in tempestuous seas to be sure.

DH deleted it (because he knew I couldn't be trusted in a 'I've had a couple of nice glasses of wine and I'm on MN and hell why not lets up load a photo of my very white buttocks' manner).

TBH it didn't look too bad. I was quite impressed considering it doesnt get out much.

Slubberdegullion · 02/07/2007 22:44

Slubberdegullion · 02/07/2007 22:51

Bobby bargain.

Your lot should all be off tomorrow to an out door concert with fireworks sitting on a lovely tartan rug eating your picnic goodies.

Not school & work & MN
