I am learning to bake at the moment and would like to share but I need to work out how to get my photos from my phone to my computer. I will be back.

Can I join in? This is my Gran's 97th Birthday cake, I watched you tube vids to learn how to make the flowers. The one at the back is my daughter's, I ran out of time so made a criss cross pattern with the back of the knife.

DS2's 12th birthday rugby cake. I have yet to work out how to put a big sheet of icing on a cake.

I tried making Peppa. This was us before we left home... Unfortunately our route to the party venue ended up going over some 'sleeping policemen'. Her head fell off, and my 2 year old who had been quietly sat in the back burst into floods of tears. It wasn't even his party / cake!

And this was only last week for my sons 21st.

I tend to go for simple, I tried uploading pic of Lego ninjas cake but it's not letting me. Am on my phone so will try from laptop later.

Oh dear green did you manage to fix it.., a beheaded Peppa is probably quite traumatic for a two year old!

I have done the ones with chocolate fingers round the side, and filled the top with choc fudge icing and smarties. They are great so simple but very effective cakes. They can be done with diktat fingers as well.
