Is anyone else interested to see what happens here.

They are going to announce the Oscars nominations around 1.30pm today. If you are interested you can livestream at Oscar.com, Oscars.org,

I am hoping for nominations for Demi Moore and Marianne Jean Baptiste in the best actress categories, and also hoping for a few other surprises.

Anyone else here?

I've barely seen any of the nominated films but I'm here for the red carpet looks and the drama.

I'm on my way home from seeing The Brutalist! Not sure what I think of it yet!

Adrien Brody Best Actor
Guy Pearce Best Supporting actor
Best make up The Substance
Best Direction The Substance
Not sure on best Supporting actress
I watched Anora this weekend and although I liked it , I didn’t think it was even Oscar worthy nomination wise let alone winning anything .
The Wild Robot was great and will hopefully win best Animated
I’m not sure about best sound , the year that All Quiet on the western front was nominated , I was so sure it would win best sound due to the haunting effects , but this year I’m not sure …

I want to see what Colman Domingo has on. There's a man who likes getting dressed 😁

Would be amazing if guy peirce wins. As last I saw him in before brutalist was neighbours lol

I did love last years performance of I am Ken. Shane nothing like that this year. Besides the wicked singing.

I don’t like Ariana’s dress , who is constantly styling her in these nude pinkish tones … it does nothing for her , she looks so weak and washed out

Yes, I would love Jesse to win for best screenplay.

Jason Isaacs is great.

He should also get awards for best actor as his role is far harder than the ott performance of his cousin. You felt more sympathy for him.

How did Chalamet learn all those instruments? In Call me By Your Name he played piano to quite a high standard.

I also think it's a mistake to miss out the songs, especially if they claim it's to save time but then keep in a load of dumb skits with the host (although I'll admit I have no idea who the bloke is).
