WTF was that about? It's taken me weeks to watch it. It was up for Oscars as well.

Oh and The Silver Linings Playbook - that was a heap of crap, I think I paused it halfway through to go to bed and never started watching it again.

Derek I agree with you, DP made me watch the whole of Budapest Hotel the other night and I was counting down to the end. I still don't understand what happened in it but I don't care.

I just remembered how much I disliked Juno. Oh, that film annoyed me. 8 of us went to see it and everyone was raving about it when we came out. I was the lone voice saying 'its terrible!'

Also disliked 'I'm not there' the story based around Bob Dylan.my friend used it as a chance to have a nap!

flipchart · 05/01/2015 08:06

Flipchart..I loved it too.

InanimateCarbonRod..if you were inspired to post that by me mentioning 12 years a slave then yes.I know it was true story and tragic. And that these things happened. The film however to me was a bad pastiche of a mediaeval tragedy with hammy acting.

januaryblues11 · 05/01/2015 08:14

worst film I've ever seen was The Family Stone. I think it was Sarah Jessica Parkers first film after SATC. it was horrendous horse shit.

Also hated mamma mia. How dare Pierce Brosnan destroy the winner takes it all like that? cringe.

I wasn't impressed by her. I watched it with FIL and found myself wanting to die throughout all the phone sex stuff. And that awful bit with the surrogate. And the double date bit too; it was dire.

I also didn't understand how he was able to publish a book of letters he'd ghost written for people to lazy to correspond with each other themselves. In fact, I couldn't understand how that could ever be a thing at all. You'd just get the most banal letters ever, with nothing personal in them at all since they were written by someone who doesn't know either of you. And who would be impressed by getting a ghost written love letter?

I didn't like Juno either.

AngelDreams · 05/01/2015 08:19

Mama Mia
really meryle street had a teenage fling and has a daughter who is 20??? Really fucking time travelling? ? Julie Walters is an embarrassment as well in this

ImTakingTheEssence · 05/01/2015 08:20

Hunger games and twilight heap of shite.

AngelDreams · 05/01/2015 08:24

(I love ABBA btw)

StandMyGround · 05/01/2015 08:25

The Piano .
Also Moulin Rouge - just awful.

Loved Out of Africa - all nostalgic as miss living there .

JuniDD · 05/01/2015 08:25

Withnail and I. My friends went on and on about how funny it was. The only thing that cracked a smile was the Camberwell carrot and I'm pretty sure that's at the end.

King Kong with Jack Black. So much happens, nothing happens. And it was three bloody hours waiting doe the pace to pick up.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 05/01/2015 08:26

Spirited Away..people rave about it. We walked out.

MassaAttack · 05/01/2015 08:28

Blue Velvet, and another vote for Titanic.

The bit where Norman Lamont Leo DiCaprio drops the key, I literally called out 'drown, drown'. This was at home I hasten to add, not at the flicks.

Leaving Las Vegas. I remember nothing about it other than wanting to leave the cinema.

Nativity 3 'dude where's my donkey,. Went a few weeks ago. We had free tickets and still felt ripped off. It was just shite.

Fullpleatherjacket · 05/01/2015 08:41

Probably hundreds over the years but the most up to date are

Captain Phillips. Unremittingly shouty and ended up with a headache Angry

Micah · 05/01/2015 08:51

Legends of the fall. 20 years ago and I still resent those lost hours.

See also several films around at that time, overlong "epics". The one where bloke wandered around being Indian-last of the Mohicans?
