American Hustle.
American snore fest more like... Only likeable character in it was the 'bad guy'

Philadelphia. One of the few films I have not watched to the end once I started. Turgid obvious hand-wringing and not a patch on Longtime Companion, which I saw several years before.

Thank you!! I saw this in the cinema and felt embarrassed by the 'intimate' scene... the one where it goes all black and you hear them. And that scene where they're having a picnic with the other couple! My Lord, I cringed through the whole thing but that scene was just so silly.
There's a human couple and then some guy with his girlfriend/ iPod nano 4th generation.
It was just so corny!!

Oh American Hustle is another one I have paused. About three weeks ago. It won't beat me.

There Will Be Blood. "Ham"iel Day Lewis overacting as only he can. We had gotten a babysitter to see it in the cinema as it had such rave reviews. It was utter shite and we both felt cheated.

Out of Africa. The only decent thing about it was Michael Kitchen and he died.

Interstellar, utterly ridiculous. I defy anyone to explain the plot properly!

Brokeback mountain. I'll never get those hours back.

Who was the woman he was with at the end? I'd given up by then. His friends never even flinched!

Citizen Kane

Oh no Louise , I love Out of Africa! It's a true story and their romance seemed so believable and tragic.

Avatar. Took the kids. Fortunately I sneaked in some miniatures to keep me going.

I went to the cinema to see ' Her'. My friend laughed all the way through (not in a good way)

I went to see A Theory of Everything. I thought the acting was awesome but the actual story was ok. I think because the most people know the story of Stephen Hawking so there are no twist or surprises so perhaps this maybe my over hyped film of 2015!

Oh and Australia.

Titanic. It was so long and drawn out I thought it would never end. Not a patch on A Night to Remember.

Beverley Hills Cop (I'm ancient btw). Axel bloody Eddie Murphy, sheesh it was dire and I'm obviously carrying the baggage of it all these years .

The thin red line- boring, boring, boring.

I love Out of Africa.

Someone beat me to Brokeback Mountain. I get the story, tragic love and all that. Gorgeous scenery, beautifully shot, blah blah.
But, not much happens. I've no idea what Heath ledger is saying for about 75% of the film.

And Love Actually. I can't see why it inspires so much love, it's terrible.

Titanic. they could have told the whole story more believably in 20 minutes and had Rose fall for a real man! Too many hours of my life were wasted there.

Saving Private Ryan - by the time they stormed the beaches, i hoped the guy was already dead. who cared? Not me.
