Free Pass to be useless

This is going to sound very pessimistic but has anyone else just had enough of men being socially condoned to be useless?

Im so sick of men putting in limited effort with the kids and being hailed a wonderful dad, not “noticing” when the housework needs to be done and “just not thinking about” kids activities, school events, doctors appointments etc.

Why is it socially condoned that they don’t need to make decisions about the household or even make their own doctors appointments.

it is absolutely bullshit that women have to carry the brunt of every burden and still not be recognised like a man would be.

@XChrome I would love to be part of a small group of like minded women who were interested in talking about feminism. I suppose the only way to ensure men didn't wheedle their way in would be to do it in person. For all our strengths, women do have a tendency to fall out though!

It can be done online, but only if you invite people you have been talking to for some time who you feel are consistent with being female and radical feminists. If one was later discovered to actually be male he could be kicked out of the group.
Right after I quit hosting the public board it became a hotbed of TRA, even had a trans host at one point. So leaving that came not a moment too soon. That was back in the 2000s, so it would be exponentially worse now.
I've toyed with the idea of creating another private refuge for awhile now.
