Watched an interview with him today. Apparently he thought initially he could argue his way out of it. Now tearful and remorseful.

I can’t get my head around why he, or anyone would think it acceptable to be looking at porn in the workplace, irregardless if colleagues are female, male, identify as a pigeon or whatever. He was there to do a job and to represent people, very bad form and I think he has done the right thing by resigning from his position.

I am also baffled as to how he came across a porn website after looking at tractors… what porn is related to tractors?!?

i think he said the porn site had a similar name to the tractor site, but as has been said before even if what he say is true, the second the porn popped up he should have deleted

It's disgusting. Well done to those female MP's who pursued the complaint against him.
The hubris and sense of privilege of the man. Openly watching porn whilst he was supposed to be listening to and then voting in a HoC debate - doing work he is most generously remunerated for from the public purse. MP's have plenty of time outside of the chamber to go web searching and also have the freedom to take on other very lucrative jobs.

Does anyone know what issue the Commons were voting on that day? I'm sure I read something about trafficking a few days ago but can't find any info now. Glad he has gone but I'm saddened by all the attempts to paint him as somehow a victim and his wife basically saying he did a stupid thing.

@SapatSea he’s not a victim, but he was stupid, and I feel a degree of empathy as he’s ruined his life and been outed as utterly unprofessional and a bit of a dirty old man..
He will have to live with the consequences of his actions. And bravo to those who reported, bad behaviour in the work place shouldn’t be tolerated.
