Hi everyone, it seems we have reached 1000 posts on our original thread which is amazing, just shows how much support we have been able to give each other.

I thought we would benefit from part two!

@MrsTeachers you are welcome! It causes me no problems really other than odd flare up here and there! Glad I helped! Flowers if you can’t notice and it doesn’t cause pain you definitely won’t need to worry! Mines classed as mild and I have wonky shoulders Blush Grin xx

Thank you @ofwarren I’ll try that! Xx

Skyliner001 · 02/02/2021 14:14

Morning ladies, I can see that we are almost to the end of this thread! Likewise please tag me if anyone sees where the new thread goes! Sorry not to reply to everybody individually, I've also had a dodgy morning, must've lying down to check my breasts with a mirror and a torch for dents and dimples 100 times this morning.

Skyliner001 · 02/02/2021 14:15

I've been referred for CBT though, and self starting with some web resources, before proper therapy starts in six weeks.

KasparKat · 02/02/2021 14:31

@MrsTeachers my Mum has scoliosis and just experiences occasional mild sciatica. If it was likely to affect you significantly you would have known about it by now.

I watched an amazing clip of a professional ballet dancer who has scoliosis the other day. It is really serious and looks very sever close up but when she dances you can't even tell. If you did ever have any problems its likely that physio would be all you need.

ofwarren · 02/02/2021 14:34

Will your CBT be online or face to face @Skyliner001?

tmh88 · 02/02/2021 14:48

@Skyliner001 well done that’s amazing! Hope it goes well for you!Flowers

@ofwarren I can’t answer for skyliner however my therapy is face to face, well I sit behind a screen with a mask on and him with a mask and visor..Grin

ofwarren · 02/02/2021 14:51

@tmh88 that's really good. I would like to ask for some therapy but don't want to do it over zoom

KasparKat · 02/02/2021 15:00

@tmh88 I get bubbly mucus too, it is weird. I used to take omeprazole but weaned myself off during the summer (part of my HA is fearing taking medicine!). I wonder if I should go back on it. Hmmm...

KasparKat · 02/02/2021 15:01

I'm having online CBT. Its been quite helpful so far but a bit slow. I end up doing my weekly shopping order while I'm waiting for her to type Grin

MrsWhites · 02/02/2021 15:10

Hi everyone, I have been at a funeral today so sorry i’ve missed a lot of posts this morning.

Hope everyone is ok, big hugs to everyone having a bad morning x

Thank you for all of the period reassurance by the way, I know that deep down that they can be different each month but sometimes you just need someone else to tell you it happens to them too don’t you!

@MrsWhites sorry for your loss x

Periods majorly stress me out! And smear tests where I'm googling the likelihood of having something wrong and chance cancer frantically whenever it gets to near time to have

MrsWhites · 02/02/2021 15:16

I’ve started thread 3 since we only have about 10 posts left on this one....

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/feeling_depressed/4154251-Health-Anxiety-part-three

Haven’t tagged everyone as there are quite a few of us on here now so I thought if I posted a link to it now we could all find it that way.

@onlyreadingneverposting8 thank you! Smears really stress me out too, as soon as the reminder letter arrives on my mat I jump straight into cervical cancer drama!

onlyreadingneverposting8 · 02/02/2021 15:18

Posted too soon! ..to have one!

I'm dreading them returning after this baby as I'll be paranoid again and as I know that perimenopause can cause odd things but of course if/when that happens to me I know I'll have to go tot the doctor and have the worry of waiting for tests/results.

onlyreadingneverposting8 · 02/02/2021 15:19

@MrsWhites yep...fine until the letter arrives! But then it's the symptom spotting etc 🤦🏽‍♀️

Goolies · 02/02/2021 15:27

For those with acid and reflux I’ve just ordered some d limonene. It’s a natural product but the reviews for it are amazing. Supposed to help with acid.

MrsTeachers · 02/02/2021 16:23

@tmh88 thank you so much, I definitely can't notice and don't mind the wonky shoulders lol! I just keeping thinking it could be all sorts

@KasparKat thank you, glad your mum doesn't suffer badly. It's reassuring to hear real life people who have, when I googled it scared me to death, not stopped crying all day. I will try and find the video x

Goolies · 02/02/2021 16:52

Hi ladies so I just rang the surgery and they said chest x Ray was normal. Thank you all so much for your supporting and kind words. Xx hope this provides reassurance for anyone else with similar symptoms. X

MrsTeachers · 02/02/2021 17:08

I'm so glad I have found this thread. Just had a read through and honestly I thought I was the only one who was like this

MrsTeachers · 02/02/2021 17:15

Great news, if you don't me asking what symptoms did you have. I have recently had a chest x-ray due to abnormal ecg

tmh88 · 02/02/2021 17:20

@MrsTeachers you are welcome! If you scroll up there is a thread 3 you can join as this one is nearly full xx

Goolies · 02/02/2021 18:02

Hi @MrsTeachers my symptoms are rib pain, predominantly on the left side. Under the breast but also on the sternum. My gp said it’s sounds just like costochondritis but I was worried about a blood clot or bone cancer. I also get chest tightness sometimes so was really worried about my lungs.

I have been contemplating getting a home ecg monitor I’ve seen one on Amazon but also in two kinds as I have a pulse oximetry and recently have been behaving crazy with it, taking readings 40 to 50 times a days, sometimes I keep checking my blood pressure too as I bought one of them, worried another gadget will just feed the habit more. What are your symptoms?

MrsTeachers · 02/02/2021 18:09

Thanks @tmh88 I have just joined

@Goolies I was having similar symptoms to yourself and as I had covid dr suggested chest ray and ecg and I thought great it will come back normal and relieve some anxieties. Well ecg showed an abnormality and chest X-ray shown I have scoliosis. I'm a wreck, can't stop crying and stupidly googled. Wish I never had the ecg as would have never knew about any of this. Now I'm imagining all sorts. SadI've not been referred for echo and CT scan
