Hi everyone, it seems we have reached 1000 posts on our original thread which is amazing, just shows how much support we have been able to give each other.

I thought we would benefit from part two!

@chorusline79 @tmh88 @MrsWhites We can do it!

MrsWhites · 29/01/2021 18:41

@tmh88 I think things definitely seem worse when the fear is taking over.

We can do this ladies! Let’s keep checking in over the weekend and keep supporting each other!

My anxiety has been through the roof this afternoon. Will be glad to get to sleep tonight! Have had a good look down below and the piles look pretty bad atm (sorry if tmi) I've ordered some cream for inside and out from Amazon. And promised myself if there's no improvement I'll contact my GP in a week or so.

chorusline79 · 29/01/2021 19:42

Sorry to hear this @onlyreadingneverposting8 Really hope the cream helps and it gets better soon.

Skyliner001 · 29/01/2021 19:44

Oh @onlyreadingneverposting8 So sorry you've had such a bad day. Hoping for a better day for you tomorrow 😊

onlyreadingneverposting8 · 29/01/2021 20:06

@chorusline79 & @Skyliner001 thanks - I'm finding this group really helpful - I don't feel so alone xxx

Goolies · 29/01/2021 20:44

I’m with you ladies, desperately need a no poke weekend I’ve been so stressed the last few days, need some respite!

Skyliner001 · 29/01/2021 23:00

Welcome to the no poke weekend @Goolies 😊

Totally get that, I feel the same 😊

tmh88 · 30/01/2021 08:47

Morning, I haven’t poked yet! How is everyone doing! DP thinks I’m joining some sort of cult with my repeated 10 minute breathing exercises Grin can’t do it when he’s in the room as I laugh too much and can’t concentrate on it Blush hope everyone is doing ok! Flowers

Skyliner001 · 30/01/2021 09:05

Sometimes laughter is really good medicine! That's hilarious!

I haven't tried the breathing yet but I will, I haven't poked all this morning, I brushed my breast and had a little panic and thought I should check. But I reminded myself I did examine yesterday, and I do a thorough exam every month.

Fingers crossed everyone, I know we can do this 😊😊

MrsWhites · 30/01/2021 09:49

Morning all! Haven’t poked so this morning, early days but i’m still up for the challenge.

Glad to hear you are doing well so far too.

@onlyreadingneverposting8 I totally feel the same, the support on here has been absolutely brilliant for me. It’s so strange that you ladies have become like friends to me but we don’t even know each other’s names!

We’ve only got 4 pages on this second thread yet...hope you are all up for part 3!!

chorusline79 · 30/01/2021 10:04

Morning all. Hope you're all ok. No poking here (yet!) Smile I feel so grateful to have you lot too, you are an amazingly supportive bunch.

Some good news too - my friends breast cancer seems to have been found early stages so the outlook is positive . She had to go for a scan yesterday as they thought they saw something on her liver, but her liver is fine. Cried with relief yesterday when she messaged me.

Have a good weekend all. Anyone up to anything nice? It's very wet where I am so we may be stuck in most of weekend but at least I can get some jobs done - house is a tip!

tmh88 · 30/01/2021 10:17

Glad we are all doing well @Skyliner001 @MrsWhites @chorusline79

I haven’t got much planned this weekend! Going to have a sort of my dreaded junk cupboard ha! Then probably go round secretly charity bagging toys that no longer get used! Blush

tmh88 · 30/01/2021 10:18

Yes definitely up for part 3 @MrsWhites Flowers

Goolies · 30/01/2021 10:32

Morning all! So I had W tony wobble this morning where I poked once but quickly told myself to snap out of it and got out of bed. So fingers crossed it stays this way.

@MrsWhites yes Defo up for part 3!

Hope you all have a lovely day, no idea what we are going to do, choices are limited, will try and get out for a walk

MrsWhites · 30/01/2021 11:10

@chorusline79 that’s good news about you friend, so glad that they caught it early.

@Goolies doesn’t matter about the wobble, the main thing is that you were able to let the thought go.

Don’t have many plans for the weekend either, it’s not like we have many options available at the moment is it. Food shopping, a bit of tidying/cleaning since it’s near impossible to get anything done during the week now. @tmh88 has also inspired me to have a bit of a clear out with a charity bag that was delivered this week!

Hi again ladies, so I had a brief setback, and dug around in my abdomen for a bit, thinking I have found lumps which tensed surprisingly like muscles… My partner thinks I'm mad. Just jumping on to say that I'm super keen to make the rest of the weekend though. It's so hard isn't it, but we are getting there.

@MrsWhites you speak the absolute truth to say that I setback is not the end of the world.Every minute that we have which is happy, and every minute that we have where we are not poking, or upsetting, or googling is an achievement in itself. We have to be proud of all of the achievements even if they seem small to us.

Good luck for the rest of the day ladies! Housework and a walk with the dog for me. Then a cosy film, a fire, and some pasta I think!

Skyliner001 · 30/01/2021 11:45

Amazing @chorusline79 I also feel so lucky to have you all.

@tmh88 See above about my wobble, we've got this for the rest of the weekend. I think mornings are hardest for me!

Skyliner001 · 30/01/2021 11:45

Also @chorusline79 Fabulous news about your friend!! 🥳🥳

tmh88 · 30/01/2021 12:06

@Skyliner001 I’ve got lumps in my lower stomach! They did cause me panic at first but had them since around about the time I had DS so put it down to that I have quite loose skin etc on my stomach!

chorusline79 · 30/01/2021 12:15

Hey all, I've just discovered a blood blister in my mouth - can't remember biting my mouth or anything, having a panic that it's connected to my sore lymph node in neck - trying not to panic but was on google and google tells me head and neck cancer

Has anyone had blood blister and how long does it last?

tmh88 · 30/01/2021 12:47

@chorusline79 where is your blood blister? Is it sore to to touch? I quite often bite the inside of my mouth and don’t realise, sometimes I wake up with sore inner cheeks where I’ve pressed head down onto my hand In my sleep x easier said than done but Google brings up the worst every time as it’s the most clicked links. When I Google now I put things such as “swollen lump not cancer” and it brings up alternatives to cancer x

tmh88 · 30/01/2021 12:48

We are all going to have wobbles but the main thing is we all have each other & we all have the will power to want to change x

chorusline79 · 30/01/2021 12:58

Thanks @tmh88 it's not sore, that's a good tip about googling - I will try that next time. I just wish I could have a few weeks with no worries. Was feeling good this am until I spotted it!
