Could you email them instead, if you don't feel comfortable talking with your DD around? I can see why that would be difficult.

Justalittlebitfurther · 02/01/2020 23:55

If your dd is safe upstairs shut yourself in a room and call them. If she doesn’t sleep much tonight it’s not going to kill her but you obviously need to talk to someone

rainbowlou · 02/01/2020 23:55

I’m sorry you’re feeling like you need to speak to them but I’m sure Samaritans have a text service?
I apologise if I’m wrong Flowers

Justalittlebitfurther · 02/01/2020 23:56

Do you have anyone who can sit with her tomorrow so you could call?

Email [email protected]

If you email them now, even if it's just 'hello, I'm not feeling good' then you can still phone as well, when you are able.

colouringinpro · 03/01/2020 00:02

I have ds too with ptsd anxiety depression and functional disorder.

Is there any time when you are not with her? Caring for a child with ASD is really hard OP. Do you have any rl support?

Justalittlebitfurther · 03/01/2020 00:05

Gosh that’s tough - have you seen your GP?

MopsRUs · 03/01/2020 00:05

Do you have any helpful contact with the NHS or other services at the moment?

colouringinpro · 03/01/2020 00:06

dcs dad has them a bit. But he has Bipolar. vulnerable. just resigned from job as too stressful.

CAMHS here is totally dysfunctional. am waiting on family therapy. Missed one meeting in Sept as ds in hospital and they referred me to social services for failing to engage. fortunately got a good social worker who immediately closed case.

It’s completely ok to try and get help for you as well as them.

I’m off to bed now, but I’ll check in tomorrow.

colouringinpro · 03/01/2020 00:20

It's really hard though, the last time I was struggling with my mental health, 2018, CAMHS and gp used it against me. and even just writing that makes me sound paranoid, but it sadly is true.

Is your 15yr old asleep now? Can you phone now?

Is there someone who can watch them tomorrow while you speak to someone?

MopsRUs · 03/01/2020 01:49

I'm glad you sent an email and hope you receive a reply soon. Thanks

redastherose · 03/01/2020 01:53
