At 3.38 this day 2 years ago I was pulled from the wrong side of a bridge by policemen.

I have worked bloody hard to sort my head out.

I have put on nearly 6 stone (and counting) through meds.

I am allowed to live with DD alone Grin

I'm doing bloody good

What a lovely story to start the day with. Well done to you, that is fabulous, and the thought of your darling little girl sleeping next to you brought tears to my eyes. It is the little things in life that can bring such joy. Sending you a big hug

Carry on being proud of yourself because you should be justly proud. It can't have been an easy thing at all and I hope you have some good professionals around you to support you.

Weight and everything else will happen in its own damn good time. For now, just focus on how far you've actually come. That truly is amazing. Thanks

BetterEatCheese · 31/05/2017 08:18

Amazing!! Well done, that's a massive achievement.

Saracen · 31/05/2017 08:19

Ah OP, you've made me blub. I am SO happy for you. And for your lovely little cuddly girl.

Keep up the good work. I know it's still hard even though you have turned a corner.

LOL at you embarrassing the police officers. Bet they love it and are really glad to be appreciated.

Congratulations! 16 years and counting for me, here.

Are anniversaries and reminders sometimes still hard for you? If so, be gentle with yourself.

originalbiglymavis · 31/05/2017 08:34

That's a milestone! It valls for a nice afternoon tea - sandwiches and cake with your daughter and her teddy bears in the park, I think.

'good and bad, this you will pass' are wise words.

SurfacingTrunk · 31/05/2017 08:37

Well done! You're amazing!

But, you need to change your username now!!! Smile

FaithAgain · 31/05/2017 08:40

This has given me goosebumps! You are amazing CallMe. You should be proud of yourself! It's so tough to fight against those kind of thoughts. Don't worry too much about your weight, that'll come in time. I was very low a few years ago and gained lots of weight. I've finally tackled it since October and feel great now, it did take a while for me to be in the right headspace to do it though. All the best for a bright future Flowers

What a lovely thread OP

I don't get the Hannah Baker reference but if you want a name change what about CallMeAnInspiration - it's what you are. You hit the rockiest of rock bottom and must have worked so bloody hard in the last 2 years. Another stranger from the internet is feeling really proud of you right now
