My husband died suddenly two years ago when my boys were 3 and 5. Two years later and my now five year old is only just starting to deal with his Daddy's death because he didn't understand. He asked me every day for four months if Daddy was coming home today. Now, he is sad that he can't remember him properly and is desperate for a new daddy because everyone has one and he needs one too.

I know you must be in a difficult place, but please, please don't do this to your family. They will never, ever get over it.
