Are you home then? Do you feel well enough though?

Truly, are you ok?

Good, think of the five. It makes me feel much less panicky about being sleep deprived. And the naval watches, the bells, are all in blocks of four hours too, which also is a cheering thought.

I'll try the headspace app. Dawn Chorus bloody loud atm and depression doesn't help.

windchimes23 · 02/07/2015 06:41

Am I ok? Well I'm not about to do anything daft so that's good.

I've been awake most of the night, mind ticking over as usual. I stayed in bed but it was hard work. Now I'm deciding if I go to work today.

Got an hour to decide.

I'm in the midst of a disagreement with HR, and my manager is unsupportive. Like REALLY unsupportive.

I might just sack it all and crawl into bed for the day. I have an OH meeting tomorrow, I'll just tell them what's been going on and that I can't cope with the lack of support.

It, am sure you know this, but produce whatever bit if doctors' records you can. Oh v different now.. Good luck.

windchimes23 · 02/07/2015 20:20

Thanks.

Called in and took annual leave. Boss not too impressed, he'll be less impressed tomorrow after my OH meeting when I explain that non of their recommendations have been implemented by him or HR.

Seriously, Headspace works. Just lie there and breath. First ten sessions are free.

I'm ok, I'll just take it hour by hour. It's no biggie. I was in the midst of a massive mixed episode and I always go batshit for a few days, it had been brewing for a week. Coming down now, perhaps the depot did some good Wink

Hey there. How are you today?

windchimes23 · 04/07/2015 15:20

Slept pretty well :) just filling the paddling pool for the children. Keeping busy, husband disagrees but I need to keep going at the moment. Shorts on and feet ready for paddling pool action from reclining chair.

Hope everyone else is doing ok in this unbearable heat x

Paddling pool action from reclining chair sounds perfect. DH can get you a long drink.

Can you note down symptoms and timing both to show oh and for DH yo give you to provide the counter factual for the next time this occurs, including these posts?

And yes, to me not an expert, I think it gave you two days respite from some of your pressures. So putting in place the equivalent when you sense this is coming round again sounds sensible.

Aridane · 04/07/2015 16:22

How long is the olanzapine administered by depot supposed to last? What follow up is their?

Enjoy the paddling pool supervision from deck chair!

windchimes23 · 04/07/2015 18:27

Between 2and 4 weeks at a low dose. I had two days oral beforehand. At the massive risk of outing myself I ended up in the paddling pool ;)

Would my children notice?

DCs look entranced and entrancing! They need you. Keep this photo too.

mawbroon · 05/07/2015 01:00

Having bloody good fun is just what the doctor ordered ???? x

windchimes23 · 05/07/2015 21:42

I think it's working, I'm not going berserk anymore and even managed an afternoon nap. The house is clean and organised, clothes are ironed but not at an OCD level. I feel almost normal. Please, please let this be the one Wink

Fingers crossed for you op.

furrylittlecreatures · 06/07/2015 09:31

I have read through and can't see if you have confirmed what SJS is. Is it Steven Johnson Syndrome because if it is I have this very, very rare condition too and I suffer from some mental health issues.

Do you have Steven Johnsons??

windchimes23 · 06/07/2015 11:05

Yes I have Steven Johnsons. I was initially diagnosed with an allergic reaction to Sertaline and Lamatical. My GP gave me steroids and anti histamines.

The next day I got the blisters in my mouth, throat and eyes. About 7% of my body was affected.

I have some lasting damage but was lucky as I was admitted to hospital quickly.

I'm scared to even take nurofen, it's a lottery taking MH drugs. Sorry you suffer too.

OP posts:
furrylittlecreatures · 06/07/2015 13:05

Oh this is great to meet a fellow sufferer!!!!(If you know what I mean). Mine was triggered by anti depressants. I too was put on the steroids which looking back did not help my suicidal thoughts.

I too was admitted to hospital just in time as it moved into one of my eyes and I was about to lose the sight in that eye. Its an awful disease and so misunderstood. I am just like you scared to take anything I haven't taken before.

I cannot work now and my life has become very small. I have way too much time on my hands which really doesn't help my thought processes.

How are you doing today?

windchimes23 · 06/07/2015 18:15

Furry I wrote you a long response but it seems to have got lost in the ether

I'll PM you later once the children are in bed. I'd like an SJS buddy Wink
