It sounds so logical when you put it like that. Yes, how can I expect them to help me without all the information available Hmm

On the other hand, am not currently unwell and contacting them won't do anything to facilitate expedited discharge from services.

Will try tomorrow maybe and see what happens. Thanks Flowers

happyyonisleepyyoni · 06/02/2015 08:45

Morning anyone around? Ennn let us know how you get on with the CC. I agree with Mitchy FWIW.
How's everyone else doing?
Was off line last night, had friends round for Chinese and then had Big Talk with DS2 about school. He had a run-In with some kid who called DS1 "sad" and DS2 sent the boy a text calling him a c*. A sentiment I agree with but didn't tell DS2.

Ennn · 06/02/2015 08:46

Yep am around.

Ennn · 06/02/2015 08:48

Yes probably wise lot to mention that to DS2 Grin What a difficult conversation to have Flowers

Ennn · 06/02/2015 08:48

^not to mention

brightandbreezyNot · 06/02/2015 08:49

Morning all. As a continuation from yesterday, I am nearly at the ripe old age of 45!!!

Ennn · 06/02/2015 08:50

I hope it felt like a productive talk and you slept okay

Ennn · 06/02/2015 08:51

Morning bright Smile

CaulkheadUpNorth · 06/02/2015 08:54

Morning.
I'm off for bloods soon, would anyone like to send an arm and I will get Lovely Phlebotomist to check their lithium too?
I'm almost too embarrassed to go, having decided that sh was most definitely the best way to deal with things yesterday, but I know that probably having the right amount of lithium is a bigger deal.

happyyoni how is ds2 about going into school today? Do camhs/someone else offer support to you as a family?

happyyonisleepyyoni · 06/02/2015 08:56

Cheers Ennn. DS2 seems better this morning. Thank god I am signed off work though. Slept til 5 which is an improvement on night b4.
I am a glowing, youthful 41 although my roots are coming through alarmingly, need emergency hairdresser appointment but can't get in until 21st feb, by which time I'll have white tresses a la Gandalf at this rate.

happyyonisleepyyoni · 06/02/2015 09:01

Morning Caulk. I'll pass on your offer to send an arm thanks all the same. Hope the phlebotomist is alright, it's such an obscure word why don't they just call it blood test nurse. Anyone else got exciting plans?

happyyonisleepyyoni · 06/02/2015 09:04

Ps we haven't been offered any support for the family. We had a couple of family therapy sessions which were more aimed at helping DS1. However after about 20minutes he just curled up into a ball and started rocking so not an outstanding success. It might be worth having a word with CAMHS but I know how massively overloaded they are.

Ennn · 06/02/2015 09:06

Heh you woke up when I went to bed yoni Grin

Am imagining dramatic Cruella De Ville locks Wink (am sure your hair looks fine). I hope I take after my mum, who turns sixty this year and can get away without dying her hair, she has so few greys.

Ennn · 06/02/2015 09:07

Oh, that doesn't sound helpful Sad

Ennn · 06/02/2015 09:11

Have rung CMHT their lines opened late and will be getting a call back hopefully in one of the rare moments when I'm not on the lie due to overindulgence in polyols.

The phone woman recognised my voice Confused

Ennn · 06/02/2015 09:11

Fecky balls, it's Friday. Weighing and blood sugar day.

Ennn · 06/02/2015 09:12

Loo.

happyyonisleepyyoni · 06/02/2015 09:12

Ennn good luck with that, I'm sure it's genetic. I went to a work fancy dress do once as Cruella de Ville, got pissed and fell over in front of senior managers. That was a great job, we were always going on team building events to posh hotels and getting wrecked.

happyyonisleepyyoni · 06/02/2015 09:13

Well done on making the call Ennn. Hope they call you back at a good time. Does anyone else really struggle with phone calls?

Ennn · 06/02/2015 09:13

Quite fancy a job like that.

Do CAMHS still dump kids into limbo when they turn 16?

Ennn · 06/02/2015 09:14

Thanks yoni Smile I always used to struggle wih phonecalls too.

Ennn · 06/02/2015 09:20

Have improved over time tho.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 06/02/2015 09:20

Well done on ringing. You can have fifteen points.

Why will all the people I'm seeing today expect me to be dressed? Why can't they understand I am mentally disordered and let me wear pyjamas?

Ennn · 06/02/2015 09:21

Yessss my first points!

Tell them considering pyjamas to be unacceptable for daytime wear is hegemonic cultural imperialism

CaulkheadUpNorth · 06/02/2015 09:34

No. Sorry. That sentence is too long. I will already be having to apologise for 100s of things so let's not add my choice of clothing to it too Wink
