Oh, that was a different teacher. She was lovely though - I think she felt bad about the prize stuff cause I went into a kids' mental hospital shortly afterwards and she wrote me a letter Shock

I don't actually believe in school prizes Hmm

a 6' medium weight turnout, no neck (think the neck on her old one has been irritating her, she's stopped head shaking now we've hibiscrubbed her mane and it's getting some air) don't ask me the brand, or the price, I just took the first one they showed me Blush

the brown one destroys his rugs and it's devastating when I've bought him beautiful horseware ireland rambo rugs that are supposed to last forever and he is standing at the gate, the first day of wearing it, naked, and we find it buried in mud with the surcingles torn off Angry how do they do that?!

toothpasteinthetree · 27/01/2015 21:33

I've been washing the DC's hair. Always rather a lengthy, soggy, involved process. Now that they're asleep I can obsess about having upset this colleague undistracted Hmm

Enpoid · 27/01/2015 21:35

It doesn't make me sad; I remember that teacher fondly. I totally deserved to lose the prize - I didn't want it, didn't believe I deserved it, and shouted/swore at the entire history staff saying so.

I hope your colleague understands, tooth.

Incidentally what does your nickname mean?

I have 'for the love of ivy' crashing around in my head now thanks to Ivy! and not the nice melodic mamas and papas one but the gun club

Enpoid · 27/01/2015 22:03

Signposting sentences looked up.

Never come across it before as a concept but it looks like the kind of thing I used to instinctively bung in an essay at various points as a "hey, look over here - are you still paying attention? You should give me marks for this paragraph" kind of a thing. Perhaps this signposting is something you don't learn properly until A level.

Essay subjects must be an arse for the marking.

I'm watching a holocaust documentary on BBC.

Enpoid · 27/01/2015 22:10

I saw that listed Mp but thought it might be a bit heavy for a Tuesday evening.

There was a several-hour long part one of a two partner on BBC Four the other night too.

Oldpony used to escape from rugs, DHorse just trashes them.

Enpoid · 27/01/2015 22:17

I'm playing GTA.

I'm in bed watching Orange is the New Black. It's my third attempt at bed, but have succeeded at No Mentally Disordered Behaviour all day so really all is great.

I'm happy to do marking when necessary.

Mitchy1nge · 27/01/2015 22:23

measuring bits of self with a tape measure

Project: Find New Stuff In Which To Be Interested is obviously still in its embryonic stages

Mitchy1nge · 27/01/2015 22:24

good work caulk :)

CaulkheadUpNorth · 27/01/2015 22:25

Mitchum could you send me your scales please, mine have broken and you will no longer need them due to Giving All That Up. You could also make a flower out of the tape measure.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 27/01/2015 22:27

Thanks Grin there are some things I think are probably socially acceptable even if not Mentally Normal so I'm not including them. But NO cutting, despite wanting to badly. Blush

Mitchy1nge · 27/01/2015 22:29

the first thing the ED team made me do was get rid of my scales Shock so I did (they are at a friend's house)

then of course the next thing I did was get some more

and repeat

so there will be spare scales, you can have my absolute favourite faithful ones if you want, I'm currently addicted to the thrill of the unreliable set in my bathroom (hence all the trend monitoring apps)

it hasn't made much difference, am still getting on and off them throughout the day but I just carry the numbers in my head

Millie2013 · 27/01/2015 22:31

I want a glass of wine, but I'm in sole charge of a pukey baby, so I can't have any. Boo
I'm also not likely to get any sleep tonight, due to worrying about aforementioned baby

Mitchy1nge · 27/01/2015 22:32

how is she millie?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 27/01/2015 22:34

I own four sets. These are my very special ww ones what register how fat you are and that stuff. However they have said I've gained 3lbs each day of nearly a week and I'm sure I haven't.

A tiny tiny bit of me wants the ed team to care about me.

Have half a glass of wine. How did the list go today?

Millie2013 · 27/01/2015 22:35

V sleepy, but her temp has gone down now, it kept spiking at 39.something. I've been awake for 21h (she was v unsettled last night), but thankfully I'm used to sleep deprivation!

Mitchy1nge · 27/01/2015 22:35

I think I might do a course in nutrition or something

just for personal enrichment, not as some sort of job

Millie2013 · 27/01/2015 22:36

The List didn't happen, but I was borderline productive anyhow!
