Mitchy1nge · 27/01/2015 10:45

he doesn't deserve the attention

what is everyone doing today? am mainly Being Fat Around The Home watching supersizevsuperskinny , icing my v tender left calf (the good one, sob) and running club tonight

Millie2013 · 27/01/2015 10:51

I'm contemplating writing A List and cursing OH for suggesting that I write A List. So far, I have managed to get DD ready, get myself ready, drop her at nursery, muck out DHorse and drink tea. I shall add those to The List, so I can tick them off!

Millie2013 · 27/01/2015 10:53

Doggy yoga on ITV. Dafuq?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 27/01/2015 10:53

Mitchy turn it off and go and see horses.

I'm in local village which isn't a village at all despite it being called it posting Nice Stuff to Nice People and than off for a walk at the hills by Millie's.

I want to be in bed knitting though.

Mitchy1nge · 27/01/2015 10:58

oh yeah we were going to help with that list Millie!

4OD randomly decided that 'this content is unavailable' so am watching something else on YouTube

are you sending me a late birthday present caulk? Did you sleep ok?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 27/01/2015 11:00

Only if you want knitting stuff.
Sleep happened but a lot of waking up from lying uncomfortably did too. Ah well.

toothpasteinthetree · 27/01/2015 12:53

Does anyone else on this thread ever feel hated by everyone around them and by the world in general?

Colleagues all seem to be avoiding me and friends aren't returning my messages.

SnowyMouse · 27/01/2015 13:01

How's everyone feeling today?

Mitchy1nge · 27/01/2015 13:02

no, nobody feels that strongly about me - generally they tend to like me until they get to know me (and then they love me)

it sounds horrible, how long since friends returned your messages? without wishing to be all invalidating etc just wondering what the evidence is or if is a nasty trick your mind is playing on you?

Flowers either way

Mitchy1nge · 27/01/2015 13:06

hi snowy, am having a good day - might even clean the house Shock

how are you?

toothpasteinthetree · 27/01/2015 13:08

Fully willing to concede it's all a glitch in my metal normality: I'm so painful aware of my own social ineptness that I know I'll never know.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 27/01/2015 13:15

Occasionally I think it, but then I tell myself that I'm not the centre of the world, and it's unlikely that everyone I know have all thought to do the same thing at the same time, and put all the effort in to ignoring and hating me. Then I Get Over It.

That works for me,obviously it might not be right for you, and I'm aware I sound like a bitch, but I'm generally quite bitchy to myself. I can be empathic and comforting if you would rather.

SnowyMouse · 27/01/2015 13:24

Good to hear, mitchy Smile

I'm struggling, just need to get through in 15 minute segments.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 27/01/2015 13:28

Snowy, do you have any jigsaws, or puzzles online? That helps me when I'm at 15 minutes.

SnowyMouse · 27/01/2015 13:31

I do have online puzzles, here

Thanks for the tip, I have a jigsaw too, but that would mean clearing space on my table Hmm

CaulkheadUpNorth · 27/01/2015 13:37

I find real puzzles are best, and then i challenge myself to go to the charity shop to get a new one. But yea, table clearing is never fun.

SnowyMouse · 27/01/2015 13:40

Charity shops are very good for puzzles, I got a 1500 piece ravensburger for £2.

Mitchy1nge · 27/01/2015 14:43

someone always sends #3 a 3d puzzle for christmas of various tourist attractions like the eiffel or pisa towers, they seem pretty absorbing

how's it going toothpaste, feeling any better? hope so x

Mitchy1nge · 27/01/2015 14:44

snowy too Flowers

Mitchy1nge · 27/01/2015 14:50

didn't clean the house, obviously

but am thinking about getting ready for outside world, need to buy a new rug for that orange person

toothpasteinthetree · 27/01/2015 14:55

Really struggling.

Basically, I just need a RL shoulder to cry on - and all possible such shoulders have disappeared from my life.

I'm tired of having to show the facade of coping grown-up to my DCs, DH, work, church and everywhere else.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 27/01/2015 14:59

Oh toothpaste I'm sorry. Are you in the Midlands?

toothpasteinthetree · 27/01/2015 15:00

I feel as though my mind has seized up. I can't concentrate. None of my thinking makes sense.

toothpasteinthetree · 27/01/2015 15:03

No, I'm not Caulk Sad. In my younger, freer days I might have contemplated the mad act of spontaneously getting on a train to the city I think you're in - but DH is working this evening so I need to be a responsible Mummy &etcetc
