I’m in the process of getting fit and I’ve done:

5k run
32k bike ride, up and down but not hilly as such
8k run
30 minutes yoga (YouTube video)

I mostly run along a canal towpath at the moment, I need to include some more challenging routes!

MatchesinEyes23 · 23/04/2023 20:22

Not the usual week for me but…. 😁

sunday - 26.2 mile run (Manchester marathon)

friday - 1hr yoga

saturday - 1hr Body Attack class in the gym

Rest day today, then two hour dance class tomorrow. Will do a long-ish run on Tuesday to Wednesday (10k plus).

illiterato · 23/04/2023 20:23

55km running split as 10-13-21-11. I aim for between 50-70km a week depending on what else I’ve got on and how I’m feeling in my old bones 🤣

ghlily · 23/04/2023 20:24

regaining my fitness…
Friday - 7k run
Saturday - 10k run
Sunday - 10k run

LuciferRising · 23/04/2023 20:26

3 hours martial arts
2 hours power yoga
5km run

Just building up after a lazy winter.

HeddaGarbled · 23/04/2023 20:31

2 x 4 mile walks

1 hour Pilates class

1 hour keep fit class

A few Pilates stretches before bed every night

Busy life, walk rather than use car whenever possible, use stairs rather than lifts etc.

Floofydawg · 23/04/2023 20:32

3 x 45 mins spin classes
Around 3.5k of swimming
Daily dog walks

Fairly typical week for me

countdowntonap · 23/04/2023 20:32

This last week I’ve:
walked 21 miles
done x3 spin classes (65 km in total)
10 min weights
20 mins weights
10 mins abs

less than I’d usually do as been really ill and needed to nap every evening after work, but got in zone 2
cardio every day.

Freetodowhatiwant · 23/04/2023 20:39

No major running but lifting lots of heavy weights (5 x gym sessions) and also walking over 10km most days just in my daily life. I am trying to lose some weight after letting the diet go a bit in the last few months. During those months my gym time was sporadic but I love that, because I have a good lot of muscle having always weight trained, it's easy to get back into it. It sounds simple but all I have to do it go to the gym. Getting there is key.

RedTulipsSpring · 23/04/2023 20:40

2x 30 min walks
1x yoga
1x 5k off road, undulating

Monday 7.5 k
Wednesday 10k
Saturday 5k

slightly better than average week for me

lljkk · 23/04/2023 20:53

I'm struggling with this word "fit". How would I know? I have good heart rate recovery. Only my swims are "intense" level.

Last 7 days:

: 20 minutes Roundtrip walk to pool, 50 minute swim
: 50 min dog walk, 59 min cycling, 3 hours sawing wood up
: cycling 52 min, swim 55 min
: 2 hrs 20 kayaking , cycling 33 min
: I can't remember... Fitbit says about 23 minutes walking & 1.5 hrs cycling
: 3.5 hrs cycling, 32 min walk
: 45 min cycling, 3.5 hours walking

oOiluvfriendsOo · 23/04/2023 20:59

I joined a gym and had a leisurely swim for an hour.

Just beginning my fitness journey after many failed attempts and I'm tired just reading what you have all achieved.

QuintanaRoo · 23/04/2023 21:00

Mon, 45 min spin class plus 3 mile dog walk.
tues, 3 mile dog walk, 60 min Pilates class.
weds. 3 mile dog walk, 45 min spin class.
thurs. 3 mile dog walk. 30 mins weight, 30 mins treadmill (speed walk), 30 min swim, 20 mins Pilates.
fri. 3 mile dog walk, 30 mins spin, 20 mins Pilates. 30 mins weights.
sat. 3 mile dog walk. 24 mile bike ride, off road.
sun, 40 mins spin, 20 mins swim.

Not sure I’d say I’m super fit but I’m quick cycling, can lift a lot of weights in the gym and HR is good recovery.

rookiemere · 23/04/2023 21:03

Not entirely sure I'd say I'm fit, but usual pattern is:
Mon - aim for 10k steps through dog walking
Tue & Thu - walk to and from free car park to work - 1 mile each way
Wed - morning run with friend around 5km
Fri - circuits class
Sat - parkrun 5km
Sun - circuits class

nomorespaghetti · 23/04/2023 21:04

I did yoga every day except Saturday. One was a class, the rest at home.

Went swimming on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. 2-2.5k front crawl, took between 45 mins & 1 hour.

A couple of walks. I usually do at least 15,000 steps.

Also eaten fucking loads of chocolate and now I feel sick.

Lostmyway86 · 23/04/2023 21:05
