Well done on 100 days Professor! 🥳🥳

Today did Fuel day 16 - quads.

Days exercised 124

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 01/07/2022 09:20

Bodyshred week 8 cardio done - which means I’ve finished Bodyshred and can put it back on the shelf! Tempted to award myself a weekend off to celebrate, but the end of term is so busy that I’ll fall behind if I do.

Hope the funeral went well, MsO Flowers.

Days exercised 101.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 01/07/2022 10:25

Well done on 100 Professor! Star

Hope you're OK MsO Flowers

How have you hurt your hip waterbottles? Mine is still dodgy from when I was pregnant with my now 10 year old, very frustrating when it affects being able to move properly.

Last day of school here yesterday so it was all a bit chaotic. Swim this morning. Another 500m. I'm trying really hard not to push myself too hard and end up setting myself back again.

Days exercised 88

MsOllie · 01/07/2022 11:29

I'm ok, just struggling to get motivated again as I feel exhausted all the time weirdly
Funeral was lovely

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 01/07/2022 19:34

Grief can be exhausting, MsO, its not surprising you're so tired. Mind yourself Flowers

SophieLion · 02/07/2022 07:24

Flowers Ollie.

I hope you all enjoy the summer MotherForkin. Mine have been off for a week now. Do your children swim too?

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 02/07/2022 09:43

Yoga Inferno workout 1 done. I thought after Bodyshred I might find it easy, but nope. (It is a con to call it yoga, it's HIIT training with some yoga moves.) And I do wish JM didn't love jumping lunges so much: I don't ever risk doing them because my knees are too old.

I also have a slightly dodgy hip - had PGP during pregnancy and my pelvis healed unevenly afterwards, so my right hip tends to get sore. The osteopath is working wonders, though.

Flowers, MsOllie. Grief is totally exhausting. Try not to make any big decisions for the next few months if you can avoid it.

I envy people who've already started summer holidays, DD has two and a half weeks still to go - though the week after next is "activities week" and she's going away for three nights with her year group, so DH and I have plans to go to the theatre and out to dinner. Alas, a week to go till we get to that!

Days exercised 102.

SophieLion · 02/07/2022 09:59

Forgot to say congrats on 100 days professor 🎉 I've done one of JM's yoga workouts (yoga meltdown). Wasn't easy so get where you're coming from.
Nice you have dinner and theatre to look forward to!

Fuel day 17 (upper body giant sets) today.

Days exercised 125

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 02/07/2022 18:34

Yes, the children swim Sophie but ds in particular needs some more technique lessons. There's an intensive swim class nearby over the summer so I'm going to get them registered for a week of that. Once they were both safe in the water I gave up on weekly lessons, I couldn't cope with the stress of getting in and out of the sweat box viewing areas/changing rooms and to and from other activities! They will spend most of our trip to France in the pool. The won't come sea swimming with me though!

Primary school has 8 weeks of holidays here. I'm delighted to start but but it'll wear thin by the end of week 6! Dd is going into her last year of Primary then it's 12 weeks in secondary! Activities week sounds fun, Professor, and I hope you enjoy your plans too.

I did a 45min spin class today. Ouch. Lots of speed sets. And I've done 17k steps with a plan to go for a stroll for an ice cream later, and may hit 20k by bedtime. (Although I've the bbq lighting and beer in the fridge so maybe not... Blush)

30 min power zone endurance ride done. Slog but I feel a bit better for it

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 03/07/2022 14:00

I'm the same, MsO, I slogged through 30 mins on the cross trainer and 15 mins of squats and core circuit afterwards.

Days exercised 90

MsOllie · 03/07/2022 14:16

Currently on the bike as usual!
30 min endurance hip hop ride

ILikeHotWaterBottles · 03/07/2022 19:59

Well done everyone on your accomplishments! I've had a bad end to my week, too ill to exercise today. Will get back to normal next week.

@MotherForkinShirtBalls I broke it. Had a few more breaks as well, exercising to get stronger. That's amazing you can do 30mins on the cross trainer, I can barely do 5!

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 04/07/2022 19:13

I hope you're feeling better today, waterbottles. Can't imagine how painful a broken hip must be, congratulations on getting back to a proper exercise routine after that.

I'm sore after physio this morning (although the movement in my shoulder is the best it's been in almost 2 years - yay!) so taking a rest. I'll either do a spin class or swim tomorrow. I'm then away for three weeks so I don't know what exercise I'll manage but I'll take that as it comes.

roonetta · 05/07/2022 12:37

Well done everyone! And well done on 100 Professor 🙌

It sounds like you have been in the wars in the past Waterbottles. You must be very determined to get back to where you are now. Very inspiring Star

Great news about the shoulder Motherforkin!

Walk to/from work Friday and Monday
Iron day 4 full body workout today

Days exercised 104

SophieLion · 05/07/2022 14:47

We also have long summer holidays here in greece too MotherForkin. Over two months. It tough - especially when it's so hot as hard to find things to do apart from beach. How comes summer holiday increases by 4 weeks in secondary school?
I hope you have a lovely holiday in France and happy to hear the shoulder is improving 👍🏻

Well done on your bike rides Ollie. It's nice to see you exercising again Smile

I hope you feel better soon hotwaterbottles Flowers

Hello Roonetta

A 7km run for me today (definite slog but was watching Usual Suspects while I ran - forgot how good it is) and a girvan stretch session (cos normally i'm very naughty about stretching).

Oh forgot I did Fuel day 18 yesterday (glutes and hamstrings) and a short girvan abs workout.

Days exercised 127

MsOllie · 05/07/2022 16:46

Back on the bike for a 30 min endurance class

ILikeHotWaterBottles · 06/07/2022 09:09

Well done everyone 🙂

I went to the gym on Monday, got my pt session today and hoping she shows me more exercises for my legs. Although not sure I'll be able to walk afterwards so someone may be carrying me to my car 😂

SophieLion · 06/07/2022 10:08

Hope your PT session goes well hotwaterbottles and that you can walk afterwards (but I assume your PT must be pretty strong so I'm sure she would be more than capable of carrying you to your car 😆😉)

Couldn't face any leg work after yesterday's run so skipped a couple of Fuel days and did day 22 today. Was actually a really nice upper body one.

Days exercised 128

roonetta · 06/07/2022 12:39

Iron day 5 arms and abs done ☑️

Days exercised 105

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 06/07/2022 17:41

I had a long day with work and packing yesterday, so luckily got out for a hill walk with the dog early although he was very sniffy so it was slow. Today I'm travelling for the first time in 3 years for work. I've been on a bus, a plane, another bus and now a train. Haven't done nearly as many steps as I expected I would. Could do with a run when I do finally arrive but I'm straight into a dinner. Think I'll have to write off the next few days due to meetings/conference. I'll enjoy relaxing by the pool next week after today alone!

Hope you're OK after the pt session, waterbottles. I was always fine getting into the car but seemed to seize up on the drive home!

The extra 4 weeks for secondary, Sophie is because the state exams in 3rd and 6th year here begin on the first Wednesday of June so all the other secondary kids are finished before they start. Makes for a very long summer!

Days exercised 91

ILikeHotWaterBottles · 06/07/2022 20:20

Hope the trip goes well MotherForkinShirtBalls.

I can walk thank God. It was hard though and I was tired by the end of it, but I stayed for 10mins after to walk on the treadmill. Think that helped to be honest. Now my workout could end up being about an hour and a half long if I include all exercises, which I might actually on some days, but not all.

MsOllie · 06/07/2022 20:50

Day off for me. 45 min ride planned for tomorrow

SophieLion · 07/07/2022 09:31

Fuel day 19 cardio dumbbell full body.

Days exercised 129

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 08/07/2022 08:17

A week of exercise fails - work went a bit crazy. Yoga Inferno workout 2 done. Not getting any better. I’m now away for the weekend so probably won’t get any exercise in.

Days exercised 103.
