Oh no, MrO, that's horrible. I hope the new antibiotics work quickly and well for you. Flowers

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better Sophie.

I had a mad work day yesterday so ended up not doing anything. I got spinning early this morning to make sure I didn't miss today. Between it and a dog walk I had reached my daily activity target by 11am! I really feel like a new woman going to this gym/classes.

Days exercised 74.

roonetta · 01/06/2022 12:53

Today's workout had less cardio, more strength Sophie. Day 1 raised my heart rate a lot and I enjoyed it. I'm hoping to keep up with Fuel as the workouts are around 30 minutes. It has been easier this week because the kids are home so no rushing in the morning which gives me time to get my workout in before work. Will see how it fits in with my routine when they go back next week.

Sorry to hear you are poorly again MrO. Hope you are feeling better soon Flowers

The gym and classes sound great Motherforkin. Glad you are enjoying them, that's what it's all about Smile

SophieLion · 02/06/2022 08:04

So lovely that you're feeling so good MotherForkin with the new gym.

Get well soon Ollivander Flowers

I'm looking forward to Fuel Roonetta. It sounds more varied. I hope you manage to fit it in once the DCs are back at school.

Today Iron day 27 (upper body) and 30 (arms, abs and core).

Days exercised 100

Well done Sophie!

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 02/06/2022 08:56

Well done hitting 100 Sophie! Star

ass and abs class today.

Bodyshred week 5 workout 5 done, second time. (We pass over the fact that week 5 is actually lasting nearly 2 weeks in this household.) Had a blissful time in Rome and ate far too much, though we did do a fair bit of walking round museums, so it wasn't as sedentary as a working week would have been.

Well done Sophie on getting to 100!

Sorry your tonsillitis is back, MrO. Hope the new antibiotics do the job.

Days exercised 84.

SophieLion · 03/06/2022 08:25

Is "ass and abs" the official name of the class MotherForkin?! It has a nice ring to it Grin

Great to hear you had such a lovely time in Rome professor!

Did iron days 28 (glutes) and 29 (full
Body) today so that's the iron series done. Highly recommend it! Looking forward to starting Fuel on Monday.

Days exercised 101

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 03/06/2022 10:17

Bodyshred week 5 workout 6, second time. Thinking I may award myself a bank holiday break from Bodyshred and do something else tomorrow. I'm not in a hurry to get to weeks 7 and 8.

Days exercised 85.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 03/06/2022 12:18

Yes, Sophie! It's refreshingly honest Grin and it works, sitting is not easy today. I did a hill walk this morning to try to ease my aching glutes this morning.

Sounds like you had a lovely time in Rome, Professor.

Days exercised 76.

MrOllivander · 04/06/2022 14:25

Hoping to get back on the bike tomorrow, feeling a bit more human now

roonetta · 04/06/2022 15:45

Good to hear you are on the mend MrO.

Couple of rest days, although spent yesterday clearing out the garage, so more like an active rest day.

Fuel day 4 full body workout done today.

Days exercised 87

SophieLion · 05/06/2022 08:21

Took the day off yesterday as all my muscles hurt.

Today a 15 mins abs and core workout and a yoga session for stretching.

Days exercised 102

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 05/06/2022 10:44

I had an unplanned rest day yesterday - didn't get up very early, then drove to see MIL and back and felt too frazzled after we got home. Glad to hear you're feeling better, MrO: hopefully the new antibiotics are knocking the germs on the head.

Yoga Inferno workout 2 done. I'd forgotten how tough that one is but remembered as I got onto the third set of squat thrusts. (It's not really yoga at all, except that all the pushups are chaturangas, which I can't do to save my life.) Back to Bodyshred, starting week 6, tomorrow - DD has an extra day off school so I can get my exercise in before work.

Days exercised 86.

roonetta · 05/06/2022 15:14

It makes such a difference when the kids are off Professor. I enjoyed being able to exercise before work this week.

Fuel say 5 full body dumbbell cardio done ☑️

Days exercised 88

30 min power zone endurance ride done, and it was ride 50 so I got a shiny medal on the app

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 05/06/2022 19:18

Nice medal (and name change), MsO!

Two very busy days here with family visiting, and aching legs from that class on Thursday! Visitors have all just left and I finally sat down with wine. Yesterday was a very active rest day (18k steps while cooking and cleaning) and today was a lot of eating and laughing. Back to it tomorrow.

Happy long weekend!

SophieLion · 06/06/2022 07:31

Fuel day 1 (legs giant sets). This was so tough! I was dripping with sweat and I had the AC on!!
Also did a short dumbbell abs workout.

Days exercised 103

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 06/06/2022 08:17

Bodyshred week 6 workout 5, first time. Not getting any easier even though it’s my third time through it. I suppose I might finish Bodyshred this month if I focus.

Sounds as though you had a fab weekend, MotherForkin! And well done on the medal, MsO.

Days exercised 87.

SophieLion · 06/06/2022 08:28

How many weeks is body shred professor?

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 06/06/2022 10:02

Eight, if you do it exactly as she says. I think in my case it’ll be more like ten!

SophieLion · 07/06/2022 07:36

As long as you get through it professor - I imagine it's quite intense over 8 weeks.

Fuel day 2 (upper body circuit and clusters) today and a 10 mins abs workout. Day 2 was tough. Finding it much harder than iron series. Or maybe it's just different with the mix of exercises and variety. Anyway good to challenge the body in new ways.

Day 6 Fuel - quad focussed workout. Wow, this one had me sweating. I felt like giving up after the first circuit but ploughed on with the next 2 circuits. I look like a killer tomato Angry

I agree this series is really tough Sophie but for some reason I am enjoying it!

45 min power zone endurance class done. Managed 10 miles

SophieLion · 08/06/2022 07:44

Fuel day 3 (glutes and hamstrings) and an abs workout. Quite enjoyed fuel today.
