Girvan arms and shoulders done.

Forgot my count yesterday so days exercised 12

SophieLion · 18/01/2022 11:41

Unfortunately I have to go back to the UK again. Flying today. Sorry I prefer not to say more on a public forum. I may DM you. Thank you for asking though.

I did epic endgame day 5 today - chest and triceps.

You should try epic professor because you can make it harder or easier depending on the weights you use. I quite like having a structured, varied programme because I don't have to think what muscle group to work.

Days exercised 12

OublietteBravo · 18/01/2022 11:51

Sorry to hear that @SophieLion. Thinking of you Flowers.

Sorry to hear that things aren't great, Sophie, mind yourself and safe travels Flowers

I've bronchitis after covid so I'm still flattened. Hopefully I'll be back to it next week.

OublietteBravo · 18/01/2022 22:51

I hope you feel better soon @MotherForkinShirtBalls. Definitely best to wait until you’re properly better.

I had two rest days (one planned, one unplanned). Back to it today: KB&T L3D1 (40 min)

Days exercised: 10

Take care Sophie Thanks

Sorry to hear you are still feeling unwell Motherforkin. Wishing you a speedy recovery Thanks

Girvan full body trisets done

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 19/01/2022 08:16

30DS L2D4 done. Like Oubliette I had one planned and one unplanned rest day. I really do need to work out how to fit in exercise on days when I go into the office, as once the restrictions lift I’ll be there at least 4 days a week. It’s definitely best to get it out of the way first thing in the morning, but I just can’t bear to get up any earlier.

Hope you feel better soon, Motherforkin. And best wishes, Sophie.

Days exercised 11.

Girvan triceps workout done

Days exercised 14

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 20/01/2022 09:09

30DS L1D5 done - half way through the Shred!. There’s something wrong with me, I seem to have limp spaghetti where my anterior deltoids ought to be.

Days exercised 12.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 20/01/2022 09:10

That should say L2D5, of course- oh for an edit button!

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 21/01/2022 13:21

Finally managed some proper exercise. I went for a slow jog/walk intervals with my running buddy this morning and managed 4k which really (pleasantly) surprised me. I also saw the physio earlier in the week and she thinks she's done all she can for my shoulder so she's given me a maintenance programme to stop it deteriorating before my consultant appointment in March. I'm not the sportiest of people at all, but when I'm not able to do so much at the moment it's making me twitchy!

Hope you're doing OK Sophie.

Days exercised 6

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 21/01/2022 19:13

30DS L2D6 done. Urgh. Four more to go.

Well done MotherForkin: there are no circumstances where I could run 4k, so I'm very impressed that you could after Covid.

Days exercised 13.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 22/01/2022 11:04

30DS L2D7 done. Groundhog Day here. I wonder if I'm going to be in my 70s and still grimly pounding through Jillian DVDs?

Days exercised 14.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 22/01/2022 12:10

I'm very much a plodder, Professor! I lose any progress in running very quickly which is frustrating, my muscle memory for hiit or cross training is much better.

Dog and I did my hill run as a walk early this morning. It was gorgeously cold and crisp but its going to be a bit before I run it again, I think.

Days exercised 7

SophieLion · 23/01/2022 11:14

Hello, just been catching up. Thank you all for the thoughts.

Flying home today but decided to do a yin yoga session after no exercise for days now. Hopefully will resume epic endgame tomorrow.

Days exercised 13

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 23/01/2022 12:09

30DS L2D8 done. Two more and at least I get a change (though L3 is the one with the jumping lunges, so not necessarily a good one). Rest day tomorrow, I’m in the office in town and then out for dinner, and I draw the line at getting up at 5.30 to do a workout, especially in January.

Days exercised 15.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 23/01/2022 12:49

Glad you're holding up Sophie.

I did a fartlek run today (aka me jogging between dog sniff stops Grin)

Days exercised 8

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 23/01/2022 16:36

And I managed a sea dip. I haven't been in since Christmas eve. It was cold 🥶 but I feel so good after it.

Endgame day 8 (back and biceps and abs).

We have a lot of snow here so schools closed yesterday and today. Yesterday they did online but today the government declared a "National" holiday in certain areas so no school at all. DCs all very happy!!

Days exercised 15

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 25/01/2022 09:06

30DS L2D9 done, not very well.

Days exercised 16 (I’m aiming for 20 this month as we’re away in February half term so I’ll be down next month).

roonetta · 25/01/2022 10:43

I saw the snow on the news Sophie - it looks very beautiful (although I suspect it is more of an inconvenience!).

I have decided I am not getting up early to do my exercises. While it is nice to have them over and done with first thing, I was getting up at 5.15 in order to get them and everything else done before kids got up. I also felt I wasn't giving it my all as I was half asleep, which is probably not a good idea when throwing dumbbells around. I am going to make myself do at least 3 days of strength workouts a week and try not to stress over it not being enough.

Girvan lower body dumbbell workout done and a 2 mile WWL.

Days exercised 16
