Can we make a Les Mills on demand thread?

I'm just wondering if others are using Les Mills on demand and if we could maybe check in with each other to discuss what we are doing and what our goals are etc?

I am trying to loose 1 stone and doing 5:2 but i eat too much on my non-fasting days so I don't really loose any weight, so I'm adding exercise in the hope of shifting some weight Smile

So far I have done bodycombat 3 times this week for about half an hour each and some weights and flexibility training, but I think from next week I will be adding in bodypump

Is anyone else using this? I am really enjoying it so far Smile

I definitely would try the body balance classes they are really Good at stretching you then maybe progress to a body pump if you have weights then also if you have a bike you can try the RPM or Trip class they are really hard but so worth the effort and I feel great after , tired but great, I then do the meditation in the evening which makes me fall asleep every time 😬

I find Body Combat fun and cathartic! Go for the shorter versions to start with if you're quit unfit. I have also enjoyed Bodystep.

The Fast Burner challenge is good - I'm on the final week now and I really feel like it's helped my fitness.

How many times a week is everyone doing LMOD? I’m managing 2 with a couple of runs.

Hey there. Been a LMOD subscriber for a couple of years now. Anyone care.to share their faves? I tend to do Pump and Bodybalance, but occasionally I do Combat. I'm a Mossa Group Fight instructor and whilst they are similar I prefer the Mossa tracks for combat style stuff. My.fave LM workouts are:

Pump 108, 104 and 105 (the back track song is 😍😍). Also I have a bit of a crush on Marlon.

Combat 78 - it is EPIC. Best combat ever, I adore it.

Bodybalance - anything with Hindi squat / breadbasket. Working hard to progress with this.

I’m a spin girl but have tried the body pump and grit and it nearly kills me, I hate running but I do like barre all be it I’m not very coordinated

OOoh, I am going to make a note of people's recommendations.

I strength train and run, so do LMOD once or twice a week for variety and cardio.

Mainly Core and Combat - which makes me smile too! I enjoy Combat so much, I find it easier to motivate myself off the sofa to do that rather than Attack or Grit, which is the main thing I think as any of those HIIT style ones complement the other stuff I do OK I think.

Just signed up for LMoD. And also got back in to running. (As in run number 1 😂)

I used to be into bodypump and GRIT (although it was a killer). I’m incredibly weak now though so hoping I can use LMoD for a few months until classes are resumed, and so I’m not a complete disaster when they do

I have been doing only bodypump and a bit of running for the last couple of weeks since I started the free trial. Tried bodystep this morning and omg it made me feel like a big clumsy sweaty oaf. And I am quite experienced in step! Just goes to show if you stop something long enough it really puts your cardio back! I only managed to follow it loosely but will try again.

I did body attack 108 yesterday - I was a bit dubious as I much prefer the earlier releases.. in the comments on the app people were saying how easy the release was.. glad I did it as it kicked my a**!! Between tracks 5 - 9 I am literally sweating like a tap!

EasterIssland did you not enjoy it? I did I just felt so unfit! My ankle was feeling dodgy after running last night too so was cautious. I do miss the energy of the stage but, that’s how it is at the moment.

Am I too late to join? Signed up to LM last November I think. It's fab. Favourite class by far is combat followed by attack and pump. Am scared to try grit!

I literally do everything on there except barre, Sh’bam and Body balance although I have done all of these and will do them again, just not in my regular rotation.

At the moment with no gym I’m probably doing LM 5 days a week and one run at the weekend (I don’t run much just a short one!) i do a lot of walking too but LM is life. I can’t believe my legs and arms are actually changing. I’m so happy! (I am still overweight but working to change it)
I probably did LM to this intensity (almost everyday) last time in 2017 and I had good shape then too. I do reckon GRIT has something to do with this. I do it twice a week and I just think it improves my whole fitness quicker and so I perform better in other classes too. If you’re scared of Grit, def give it a try and just do what you can. You will improve quickly! can I bang out as many reps as Erin? Nope, never! Maybe one day lol.

I just did Sprint tonight, I guess it’s Grit for the bike. Wow eee my legs are burning.

Ohh its pay day today so I've just bought a body pump weights set and bar and a step!! won't be delivered for 10 days though but I am so excited! been smashing the cardio for weeks so it will be good to even up with some weights.

Nice! My bar and step was the best Investment I ever made a few years ago. I hope I will say the same of my new spin bike too!

I did Pump 111 (I think!) Metabolic blast. Upped my weights slowly so I’m dead! Did a half hour combat remix to follow too which was good.

I ordered the Mirafit pump set but it's arrived without the weights - disappointed as I would quite like to get started with BP once I'm done with Fast Burner at the end of this week. (I definitely ordered the right thing - double checked before contacting customer services!)

I did BA90 30 minute version yesterday - really, really enjoyed it! Will be coming back to it to do the full version without a doubt.

LMOD has improved my fitness so much. I've just been for a run and managed to tackle all the evil hills near me without having to stop to catch my breath. Amazed!

Oh no @rosettesforjill! So frustrating! It'll be worth it when they do arrive :) My bar set is one of my favourite things I've ever bought - right behind my hiking boots and Sweaty Betty leggings for running Grin

I did Combat 78 on the recommendation upthread - I tend to rotate the newer ones and it was AMAZING! So much fun and the music was great. There weren't actually any tracks that had that "ugh, lets get this over with" feeling like some of the releases do.

(Feel like I should clarify that the hiking boots aren't for running, just the leggings)

I live in a flat and my living room is now a gym too. Have my barbell in front of the tv. A step I tuck away. A slam ball and now the spin bike 😂

@rosettesforjill they do tend to come in two separate packages but I can't imagine they're far behind!
