Back on 30 day shred after years of phoning it in at the gym. Just stepped up to level 2. It’s so hard 😭😭

L3 D6 done. I don’t have 6W6P, but do have a range of other JM DVDs - thinking we may alternate Lift and Shred with Killer Cardio from next week, and then move on to Ripped in 30, which I remember as horrendous but effective, or I might acquire 6W6P. Decisions, decisions...

I took three days off for my neck to feel better but did a long run on the second day so not too lazy - back in this week and L3 D5 is done! I think when I am finished I will try and do one of each level every week and up my running back to at least 2 a week. I am not at Natalie level on everything yet so I think it will do me some good to carry on 😁

L3 D9 done and dare I say I was being overly pessimistic about my chances of mastering level 3 by the end of the 10 days. I'm pretty much there, just struggling to keep my feet down on the sit-ups. I might join the 6w6pers when I'm finished Smile

Everyone is doing so well! I did 6W6P L2D4 today. I'm finding it a bit easier now that I am a bit more familiar with the moves but it still requires a degree of balance and co-ordination that I'm not naturally blessed with!

Finding it tough on my thighs and butt but I'm hoping that just means I'm burning lots of calories using these big muscles ("whatta we want Natalie?!") and I'm losing fat which will help the abs emerge from their layer of fat.

I finished Day 30 / Level 3 on Friday, yesterday, I started Level 1 day one again today ! Weirdly my legs really ache today

Oooooh. A Jillian thread. I haven’t been on one of these for ages.

I’ve been steadily working my way through my stash of Jillian DVDs since the beginning of the year. I’m almost at the end of 30DS and Ri30.

I did Ri30 L4D2 this evening, followed by the cardio circuit from 1 Week Shred.

I used to do a fair few Jillian DVD’s about 6-7 years ago. I dug some of them out and did a few with DD at the start of lockdown. We did a couple of days of 6W6P and while it’s good, we got bored very quickly. Am I right in thinking that you do each level for 3 weeks? God, I think I’d be absolutely bored stiff of doing the same exercises for so long.

That’s the only thing that has stopped me from doing her DVD’s again, I prefer having a bit of variety and doing something different every day rather than the same sets for days on end!

I've got 3 days of level 3 left and might do Chloe Madeley afterwards as it's on amazon prime. I don't have any other Jillian DVD's and can only watch YouTube on my phone so I can't really see! Anyone tried Chloe?

L3D8 done here. We're moving on to more Jillian next week. I'm no good on other HIIT workouts, I'm afraid: I tried Insanity once and sold the DVD the next week....

I'm a JM devotee and I just love how she really works me hard but with humour so I'm sticking with her.

Rollergirl 6W6P is 15 sessions each at 2 levels over the 6 weeks. I get slightly anxious at not finishing the programme so I'm happy to stick with the whole thing, even if its repetitive. To be honest I need the full 15 sessions of each one in order to be able to get to the point where i can do all the exercises. In L1 it was the bastard side planks with leg raise thing that took me ages to do. In L2 it will be double crunches and the high/lows immediately followed by the knee up/lunge things that I need to work out. That combo just exhausts me so I end up stopping at least once. But I shall conquer it!

D5 today and it was an awful workout. Sometimes they just don't click and today I was knackered 5 seconds into the warm up. Forced myself through it though.

Oubliette did you do those 2 back to back? Respect! I have Ri30 but haven't tried it yet. I've set myself a weight goal by 1 June so my objective is to lose weight. So I will finish 6W6P in 2 weeks then I'll do the remainder of the time doing BFBM and NMTZ (2 of the first followed by 1 of the second on a 3 day rotation)

yesbutno I had a look at Chloe Madeleys workouts, looks like something I might give a go to do something different. My only worries were that only 12 moves over four weeks might get a bit repetitive and minute long intervals are really looooong

L3D10 done! I should by rights be 'absolutely shredded' by now, but I fear it is not so. (I can do two full sets of jumping lunges, though.)
