Back on 30 day shred after years of phoning it in at the gym. Just stepped up to level 2. It’s so hard 😭😭

Aww shucks, guys. Blush

Alas, no fried chicken sarnie, but I'm having a chunky fish finger sarnie for supper when I've eventually recovered from evil L2. It still kills me too, roonetta.

30DS L2 (D14) done 👍
4 mile brisk walk

Tomorrow will be Bon Jovi day - 'wooooah, we're half way theeeere'

I'll get me coat... Blush

AlgonquinBay · 17/11/2020 19:52

30DS L2 Day 13 done!

OublietteBravo · 17/11/2020 19:55

I’m managing to make myself keep going with Ri30: L3D4 done ✅ (along with KAbs L1)

roonetta · 18/11/2020 13:35

Hope you enjoyed your chunky fish finger sandwich cardigans - I'll forgive you for the singing Grin but that song is now stuck in my head!

Well done Algonquin you are quietly cracking on with it, almost half way there too Smile

Well done for persevering with L3 of Ripped Oubliette - it's bloody hard work and not at all enjoyable.

Hope you are doing okay @CalmConfident?

30DS L3 (day 17) done

ilovecardigans · 18/11/2020 18:38

Sorry about the earworm, roonetta. Wink
Well done all you ladies, battling on like warriors. We got this. 👌

30DS L3 (D15) done 👍

AlgonquinBay · 18/11/2020 18:41

Ooh I love fish finger sandwiches!! Am well jealous Grin

Back to Level 3 30DS for me today (day 14), nearly half way. Was supposed to run aswell tonight but my friend wasn't feeling it and I couldn't motivate myself to go out in the howling wind alone. We'll hopefully go tomorrow instead.

OublietteBravo · 18/11/2020 19:52

Ri30 L3D4 and KAbs L2. Ooof - that’s a tough combination!

TinyHouseFan · 18/11/2020 20:00

My friend was working late but I managed to get my ass out for a run in the howling wind and you were better off at home Algonequin.

Well done ladies, you're all amazing. This is a great thread for motivation..

TinyHouseFan · 19/11/2020 08:58

WO11 done for the last time.. My shoulders or delts or whatever they are are sore this week, I hope that means I'm working them hard. I also definitely did a lower "dragon pose" than some of the athletes so yay me!!
Also, did a fast (for me, not objectively fast!) 8km run last night.
Last Body Revolution day tomorrow..
Definitely take away this weekend - with chips! Grin

roonetta · 19/11/2020 14:07

It seems like everyone on here is stepping things up a notch, maybe in anticipation of all the food and drink which will be consumed at Christmas Grin Well done everyone!

I have never done KAbs Oubliette but I don't think I could combine anything with L3 Star

One more day until the finish line Tiny whoop whoop! You definitely deserve that takeaway Star

30DS L1 (D18) - I've also lost another 4lbs so in all since I started in May I have lost a total of 19lbs! I am awarding myself a Star for that Grin

ilovecardigans · 19/11/2020 18:53

You're all brilliant - 🥇 and 🏆 to everyone, with lashings of chips!

Wow, roonetta that's awesome! I hereby award you one of these:
natswhatireckon.teejunction.com.au/shop/view_product/Good-Onya-Champ-Unisex-Tee-?n=11380987&pn=1

Last BR day tomorrow, Tiny. Well done that woman! What's next on the agenda (apart from the small matter of a half marathon!)?

Rest day for me today, as I've worked out every day for the last week. Went for a 5 mile walk with Mr Cardigan in the freezing cold this avo so I'm going to veg out on the sofa with endless cups of tea and some comfort telly tonight.

AlgonquinBay · 19/11/2020 19:41

Well done everyone. Rest day for me but still did the 5km run that I should have done yesterday.

Vegging out on the sofa too @ilovecardigans - watching the new series of the Crown!!

ilovecardigans · 19/11/2020 19:46

Yaay, Algonquin - The Crown is brilliant, isn't it? Trying to ration it, but it's like trying to stop at one chocolate!

p.s. If you haven't already seen it, I cannot recommend The Queen's Gambit highly enough. It's just... WOW!

TinyHouseFan · 19/11/2020 20:55

19 pounds Roonetta, well done! You deserve that gold Star
I've lost about the same in about the same time and it's hard going.

Cardigans, I opened the folder on the computer where BR is downloaded and saw my husband has put 6 Week 6 Pack there. I haven't mentioned it, have no idea what it's like, but now that it's there, i might as well do that (unless he downloaded it for himself?).. or maybe just mix and match some of that, BR and 30DS till Xmas while trying to get my running miles up.

TinyHouseFan · 20/11/2020 08:41

... and done!! 12 weeks, 48 (ish) workouts, several runs, plenty of cursing and swapping, but Body Revolution is done!
I actually really enjoyed it, the speed suited me, the moves were progressive, I like Jillian's tough talk..
I only have one set of 5kg dumbbells so that was a challenge, making easy exercises harder but hard ones too hard. I also don't have a cable so had to modify a few of those exercises.

Overall, it's good and as it's a program, you just have to follow it, taking the choice to skip or go easy away- which I need.

Nice relaxing weekend now, except for a 12km run, but definitely some wine in the plan Wine.

Good luck ladies for whatever you get up to today and the weekend and remember, "you got this, this is easy"! Grin

AlgonquinBay · 20/11/2020 11:17

Thanks for the tip cardigans I'll put that on my watch list.

Day 16 30DS for me and I skipped L1 and tried the strength workout from the 1-week shred which I found on Bilibili. Did a legs session afterwards too.

Treating myself to wine and pizza tonight as a reward WineWine

ilovecardigans · 20/11/2020 17:03

Well done, Tiny, that's real commitment and you're getting brilliant results. You are a champion!

Best of luck with your next challenge - keep us posted and enjoy your wine, 'cos you've earned it.

Nice one, Algonquin. Enjoy your wine and pizza - it's well deserved.

Me today:
30DS L1 Day 16
NMTZ L7
Hula hooping to Saturday Kitchen on iPlayer

For all you fierce ladies giving it your all this week, this is for you (apologies if anyone is offended by the swearing).

Hello again Natalie and Anita
AlgonquinBay · 20/11/2020 17:45

That is an amazing achievement Tiny I can't imagine doing any of Jillians workouts with 5kg weights - in fact I often reach for the 1kgs - you are a star ⭐️ well done you. Good luck with the 12km run too.

Loving that meme cardigans, that sums us all up pretty well Grin

roonetta · 21/11/2020 17:18

Thanks for the T-shirt and meme cardigans Grin - we most definitely are the champions!

Brilliantly done Tiny! That’s BR ticked off. I think @OublietteBravo has done 6W6P - I have only ever done it once and only level 1. I have heard that level 2 is very fast. Still getting my head around you using 5kg weights - how on earth do you get them over your head Shock - you are awesome 👏

Hope you enjoyed the wine and pizza Algonquin

30DS L2 (D19) done ✅

ilovecardigans · 21/11/2020 21:10

30 DS L2 Day 17 done 👍
4 mile brisk walk

Not feeling my usual chipper self today. Everything has been a struggle.

TinyHouseFan · 22/11/2020 10:07

Hope we've all enjoyed the wine, chips, pizza and chocolate mentioned recently.. although hopefully not all together and not all by the same person! I had my wine and takeaway and I'm still pretty pleased with myself, I'm probably the fittest I've ever been (although that is admittedly from a very low base!).
12km done this morning, the longest I've ever run. Even back in my running heydey, the longest I ever ran was 10km.
I might try 6W6P in the morning and see what it's like.

What's everyone's plan for the week?

roonetta · 22/11/2020 16:10

Sorry you are feeling not yourself cardigans 🥺 hopefully you are back on track today Flowers

Well done on the 12k Tiny! It feels great when you beat a personal best. Hope you like 6W6P.

30DS L3 (D20) done ✅

ilovecardigans · 22/11/2020 21:20

Feeling much better today, roonetta, thank you lovely. Had a really good, restorative night's sleep. You're 2/3 of the way there now - but sadly I don't have a song for that! 😁

Good job, Tiny! Glad you enjoyed your wine & takeaway. Keep breaking those barriers and let us know how you find 6W6P.

I have two more weeks of 30DS, then I think I'll have a week or two 'off' doing bits and bobs of Les Mills and walking before tackling Ri30 (ulp!). If my gym opens back up on 2nd Dec, I plan to start swimming in the morning.

Hope everyone has had an excellent weekend and absolutely smashes it next week! 💥

30DS L3 Day 18 done 👍

OublietteBravo · 22/11/2020 21:27

I’ve managed to get behind with posting.

Thurs: Ri30 L3D5 & 6W6P L1
Fri: Ri30 L3D6 & 6W6P L2
Today: Ri30 L3D7 & KAbs L1

ilovecardigans · 22/11/2020 21:49

Double Jillian, Oubliette? Damn, you are made of steel!
