OublietteBravo · 01/01/2020 16:31

Happy New Year! I’m starting a nice shiny new thread to keep track of my 2020 exercise goals. Please feel free to join me.

My goals are:

  1. To do some exercise on at least 250 days during 2020;
  2. To do at least 200 hours of exercise.

Hope your shoulder feels better soon MotherForkin.

HIIT for me today: ripped in 30 L1 and L2. I managed a grand total of 2 proper push ups Grin

Days exercised 235

roonetta · 30/10/2020 13:07

Wow Sophie, two levels of RI30 is impressive. Well done on the pushups 😁

30DS L2 D5 done ✅. The walk out pushups in this level are so much easier than the normal pushups I think.

OublietteBravo · 30/10/2020 19:33

I’m also impressed with two levels of Ri30 @SophieLion.

I just did KB&T L1 (40 min) this evening.

(207/43; 207h 00min)

I had a sea dip today but as my shoulder is too sore to swim, I'll count it as a rest day. Happy weekend.

SophieLion · 31/10/2020 11:43

Yes I particularly impressed myself with the number of push ups I managed WinkGrin But seriously I finished L1 and it was only about 20 mins so thought I should just carry on a bit. Not having to do the warm up for L2 also helped.

Sorry your shoulder still isn't good MotherForkin Thanks

7km run today. Tomorrow will be a rest day because we have guests for lunch so will spend the morning cooking and the evening tidying!

Days exercised 236

SophieLion · 31/10/2020 11:44

Love that you "just" did KB&T L1 oubliette! That's a whole workout for me!!

roonetta · 01/11/2020 10:59

Sending healing vibes to your shoulder Motherforkin ❤️

30DS L3 D6 done ✅

SophieLion · 02/11/2020 07:46

Various strength exercises for All the body today (including the underbutt Grin). I've got a dance class later. Not been very motivated with dance recently but Strictly has put me in the mood again (although now not sure if dance school
Can stay open with our new lockdown - all the DCs' sports have to stop Sad)

How is your shoulder MotherForkin?

I used to have 30 day shred roonetta but can't find it and wanted to give to to my DD. Is it the same format at ripped in 30? Easier or harder than ripped in 30?

Days exercised 237

roonetta · 02/11/2020 09:09

Hi Sophie - it does follow the same format as (and I think is easier than) Ri30. If it helps, I do it on a website called Bilibili.com which is like the Chinese version of YouTube. All the writing is in Chinese but if you click In the search bar and type in ‘Jillian Michaels’ you can get most, if not all, of her workouts Smile.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 02/11/2020 11:13

I had a very restful weekend. I think I needed it though. Thanks for the good vibes, roonetta. I think I've pulled my lateral deltoid so I'm definitely going to need a couple of weeks' rest for that arm. So I went for my hill run this morning. I've been doing the same run for about 2 years now and it's still no easier than the first time Blush

roonetta · 02/11/2020 14:12

Sorry to hear about your shoulder MotherForkin - at least you know a good rest will have it sorted in a couple of weeks. You are hardly 'phoning it in' if you are still going for your hill run. Well done! I don't know about you, but if I had to stop exercising I would be going a bit mad at the moment. It's the only thing that gets rid of all my negative energy (of which there is currently loads Sad)

What sort of dance do you do Sophie? Do I recall you mention something about ballroom dancing on this thread? Apologies if I have got that really wrong and you do hip hop or something Blush

30DS L1 (D7) done.

OublietteBravo · 02/11/2020 19:45

I had the weekend off. Back to it this evening: Ri30 L2D3 and KAbs L1 (65 min)

(208/42; 208h 05min)

OP posts:
SophieLion · 03/11/2020 07:46

Thank you so much Roonetta ThanksI found it. Let's hope DD actually does it now.... ha ha I don't do hip hop. I do Latin. Not ballroom.

Oh no MotherForkin. I hope you aren't in too much pain and wish you a speedy recovery Thanks

Just did a 5km fartlek run plus strength for abs and triceps and back.

Days exercised 238

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 03/11/2020 13:04

I had a very heavy leg and core day for my session. I'm not sure I'll be able to move later Confused. My shoulder isn't terribly sore but I know if I don't rest it properly it's going to linger for months.

Days exercised 225

roonetta · 03/11/2020 13:58

Wow killer combination Oubliette - you must be made of steel!

You're welcome Sophie - it even has Body Revolution and Body Shred on if your daughter decides she wants to keep going. Apologies about the ballroom slip up Grin

Glad your shoulder isn't stopping you from getting your workouts in MotherForkin. You are right listening to your body. It will mean you are back at it sooner, rather than trying to push through and doing even more damage.

OublietteBravo · 03/11/2020 19:24

Ri30 L2D4 and KAbs L2 (65 min)

(209/42; 209h 10min)

OP posts:
SophieLion · 04/11/2020 07:58

No need to apologise for anything Roonetta Smile** yes DD did the L1 shred but said it was boring. I'll Need to kick her bottom to get her to do it again!!! Because we have lock down and all sports have stopped, trying to encourage them all with exercise. Will Try to take both DDs for a short run today.

Did strength for abs, Arms and chest and then a 20 Mins butt session and followed with a yoga flow focussing on flexibility and stretching (I'm very lazy when it comes to stretching).

Days exercised 239

roonetta · 04/11/2020 13:49

30DS L3 (D9) done and a 3 mile 'Walk with Leslie'

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 04/11/2020 16:17

I had a gorgeous sea swim this morning and I ran the school run this afternoon. Keeping up with the dc on their scooters really upped my game. And I'm very proud that I managed to hold both of them off in the final 50m sprint to the gate Grin

Days exercised 226.

SophieLion · 04/11/2020 18:49

The gold medal goes to you MotherForkin!! 👏🏻👏🏻 so impressed that you can get in the sea at this time of year. I love the sea but not cold water at all....

OublietteBravo · 04/11/2020 19:45

I don’t think I could swim in the sea at this time of year (it’s not practical - I live in a county which is landlocked by landlocked counties).

I nearly had a rest day, but I’m the end I summoned some motivation from somewhere. Ri30 L2D5 and 6W6P L1 (65 min)

(210/40; 210h 15min)

OP posts:
SophieLion · 05/11/2020 07:04

That's a pretty impressive combo for someone who was contemplating a rest day oubliette!!

Short but tough for me today: ripped in 30 L4. Got to go to the shops before full lockdown starts so didn't have much time for exercise today. Was going to do L3 but remembered that awful quads circuit with the duck walks!

Days exercised 240

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 05/11/2020 10:43

Oubliette's "off" days are usually equivalent to my good ones!

To rest my shoulder my pt had me doing circuits this morning. Lots of squats and core again. If the weather isn't too awful I'll go for a walk while dd is at football tonight, to ease my legs a bit.

Hope the shopping isn't too manic, Sophie. News reports here this morning confirm that we're going to be in this lockdown until 1 Dec. The r rate has dropped below one though, which is good.

Days exercised 227

roonetta · 05/11/2020 15:10

Love that you beat the kids to the finish MotherForkin - my two would not be amused and would say I cheated 😂 Remind me where you are again in the world? We have just gone into lockdown (South West England) until 2nd Dec but I am not sure what our R rate is.

I know what you mean about L3 of Ri30 Sophie - definitely one to avoid.

30DS L1 (D10) ooh I love Level 1

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 05/11/2020 16:15

Oh I definitely cheated roonetta 😂

I'm outside Dublin. We started lockdown 2.0 two weeks ago with the aim of being out by 1 st Dec.
