Happy New Year! I’m starting a nice shiny new thread to keep track of my 2020 exercise goals. Please feel free to join me.

My goals are:

  1. To do some exercise on at least 250 days during 2020;
  2. To do at least 200 hours of exercise.

Your home gym sounds awesome Motherforkin

4 mile boosted walk today. My knee seems to be improving already 😁

OublietteBravo · 22/10/2020 19:24

Ri30 L1D8 and KAbs L2 (65 min). I think it is time to move up to the next level of Ri30.

Yes Your home gym sounds cool MotherForkin. And glad the knee is improving Roonetta.

Lovely yoga flow practice with cat Meffan and then strength for abs and arms.

We're away for a few days (children have half a half term this year) and hoping to get some exercise in there. No sea swimming for me though - far too cold!!

Days exercised 229

roonetta · 23/10/2020 08:02

The dreaded plank level Oubliette - I actually enjoyed level 2.

How come the kids have a half, half term Sophie? Are they trying to make up for the time off in lockdown? Half term for mine too next week and it can’t come soon enough. Enjoy your time away.

OublietteBravo · 23/10/2020 19:35

I just did a shorter cardio session this evening: BFBM (50 min)

Run early this morning. It felt a lot better than I expected.

Days exercised 218.

SophieLion · 24/10/2020 16:51

Wednesday is a national holiday here and so the school gave Monday and Tuesday off as well but Thursday and Friday are school days, Roonetta. Yes, they didn't want to give too much time off because of all the missed school during lock down plus schools here went back a week later than normal due to COVID.

Went to gym and did 5km interval run plus strength for abs

Days exercised 230

roonetta · 24/10/2020 17:56

I love that your shorter cardio sessions are my long ones Oubliete Grin

Did L1 30DS today as I didn’t feel lift and shred was enough of a workout after BR. It still managed to kick my butt, although I used much heavier weights than last time. I am going to continue 30DS but will do 1, 2 and 3 and repeat rather than the same level for 10 days. Will see how I get on.

SophieLion · 25/10/2020 16:24

5km interval run (but different intervals to yesterday!) plus strength for butt and abs.

We also went on a lovely Bike ride to a beach this morning. Think it was about 12 or 13km - no idea if that's a lot for biking or not!! Probably not Grin

231 days

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 25/10/2020 16:24

I always think the same roonetta, about Oubliette's short sessions!

I had 20 mins in the sea today. It was cold. I can't decide if I'll buy a wetsuit or just stick to my togs for as long as I can.

Days exercised 219.

roonetta · 26/10/2020 12:35

Jealous of your bike ride to the beach and sea swim ladies. We don’t seem to be getting out at all at the moment, think we’ve become stuck in a rut.

Started L1 D1 of 30DS again today as I am buddying up with someone on a another thread to complete 30DS by the end of November. Also did a 3 mile boosted walk after because I am off this week for half term so have more time.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 26/10/2020 16:01

I cross posted with you yesterday, Sophie. A bike ride to the beach sounds lovely. And cycling for more than 2k counts in my book Blush

I never got past about half way through level 2 of 30ds, roonetta. Good luck with it.

Run and another sea swim today.

Days exercised 220.

OublietteBravo · 26/10/2020 19:22

No exercise at the weekend (again). Back on it this evening: Ri30 L2D1 and 6W6P L1 (65 min). I’m pleased to report that I can still manage the plank jack-mountain climbers-plank jack-mountain climbers cardio circuit (although I certainly didn’t enjoy it)!

Ha ha thanks MotherForkin. I'm not used to biking so that coupled with a run meant by the evening I was absolutely exhausted....

Yes oubliette's short sessions are always normal ones for me too Grinoubliette is a hardcore JM!!

Today just did a 5km run and a quick session for abs. We're going on a hike to waterfalls later and tomorrow back home.

Days exercised 232

roonetta · 27/10/2020 12:35

D2 L2 30DS done ✅

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 27/10/2020 15:33

Weights today. I invested in trx bands so I was swinging off the conservatory doors as part of one of the sets Blush. If it stops raining I'll go for a walk or jog while dd is at football this evening.

A waterfall related hike sounds glorious, Sophie. What's the weather like there? We are getting the tail end of a tropical storm coming across the Atlantic and it's wet and windy.

Days exercised 221.

OublietteBravo · 27/10/2020 22:41

I had a rest day and went out for dinner with friends.

OP posts:
MotherForkinShirtBalls · 28/10/2020 09:01

Dinner sounds lovely, Oubliette.

Early run for me this morning.

Days exercised 222..

roonetta · 28/10/2020 14:26

Everyone is still going strong Smile. Hope everyone’s mood has lifted a little.

Dinner sounds great Oubliette. How are you getting on with L2 of Ripped?

Still getting misty eyed about sea swims and waterfalls...

Anyway, 30DS L3 D3 done. This is the first time I have ever been able to do all the moves Natalie style, even the jumping lunges. Think I have BR to thank for that.

OublietteBravo · 28/10/2020 19:00

Day off yesterday (I believe dinner with friends is an acceptable excuse Wink). Strength this evening: NMTZ (50 min)

I’ve only managed one day of Ri30 L2 so far @roonetta (must do better). I really should have done another one this evening. Hopefully tomorrow...

OublietteBravo · 28/10/2020 19:01

@roonetta - these days I find L3 of 30DS easier than L2 of 30DS. Although I still don’t especially like rockstar jumps.

SophieLion · 29/10/2020 07:23

Dinner with friends is the best reason for a rest day oubliette. And so important - getting out always rejuvenates me a bit.

The waterfall walk was the last day of good weather MotherForkin. My children even swam in the pools are the bottom
Of the waterfalls (water was freezing 🥶). Since yesterday it's been raining and stormy.

It's a good feeling when you can manage things you couldn't do before Roonetta - all your hard work is paying off!

Today did vinyasa yoga plus strength for abs, back and arms and butt.

Days exercised 234

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 29/10/2020 10:21

The waterfall sounds fantastic, Sophie.

Weights for me this morning. Although I've done something to my shoulder so I'll be doing lots of leg work for the next couple of weeks.

I'm hoping to get for a sea swim this afternoon, depending on the weather.

Days exercised 223.

roonetta · 29/10/2020 15:49

I’m with you on the rock stars Oubliette - my knees don’t like them either Confused

Hope your shoulder gets better soon MotherForkin Flowers

30DS L1 D4 done ✅

OublietteBravo · 29/10/2020 19:25

I really felt like another rest day, but convinced myself that I should get on and exercise. Ri30 L2D2 and 6W6P L2 (65 min)
