Exercising into a new decade - AKA New Year-athon 2020

Happy New Year! I’m starting a nice shiny new thread to keep track of my 2020 exercise goals. Please feel free to join me.

My goals are:

  1. To do some exercise on at least 250 days during 2020;
  2. To do at least 200 hours of exercise.

I've also had two rest days. My asthma has been very bad. Saw pneumologist today and he reckons it must be African dust which has been hanging in the air for a few days that caused it to flare up. Got medication and hopefully will be able to exercise tomorrow. I'm actually looking forward to it after two days off!

Just did 2 lilly sabri challenge for abs plus 45 mins lilly sabri for butt and thighs. I think I'm going to be sore tomorrow!

Glad you're feeling a bit better, Sophie. My brother has reasonably well managed asthma but it's always a worry.

Lunchtime sea swim today. It was invigorating.

Sorry to hear about your asthma Sophie. My DH suffers with it and it’s really debilitating when it flares. Glad you got medication sorted and are back at sorting out your underbutt 😁

Jealous of your sea swims MotherForkin. It really does sound lovely, if a bit cold 🥶

Rest day yesterday as in the office. WO12 today. Thank god for the last circuit in that one. She really must know she is killing you and eases off a bit in the last circuit.

I had a very restful rest day yesterday and couldn't figure out how I'd managed to do 20k steps. Turns out my watch counts me knitting Grin sadly it didn't raise my heart rate very much.

Today was a heart pumping sea swim. I was fooled by the sun shining. ❄️

Did a yoga session with cat Meffan this morning and then some abs. Tomorrow will be a rest day as already know that I will have no time to exercise!

I'm suffering massively from nojo at the moment. I had a very half hearted run last night which was more walking than running so I'm not going to count it.

Weights today. As of midnight tonight up lock down levels here. I feel worse about this one than the big lockdown in March Sad

Oh no @MotherForkinShirtBalls that sucks. I don’t suppose you know how long it will last either? It really is the pits at the moment not knowing from one minute to the next where things are heading. Does that mean no gym too? I think keeping up with exercise is more important than ever to keep your mood up, but I know it’s easier said than done. Flowers
