@clearsommespace WinkGrin

Did 40 mins super slow yoga. Some snot left but I think I can get back on it tonight. I'll see you later with a report. Have to scroll right down to see where I finished!

Have a good Sunday everyone

clearsommespace · 24/09/2018 07:22

Ripped L3 D6 done.
I also fast forwarded through L4. I had forgotten she does some relaxation at the end.

Happy to report in with L2 day 4. At last I felt up to it. Two weeks of bloody lurgy!

Happy Monday exercisers!

OublietteBravo · 24/09/2018 19:07

First day of Ripped level 2. I can actually manage the 2 min cardio in plank. Finally! It’s only take a little over 3 years of Jillian DVDs 5 to 6 times per week. My least favourite exercise is definitely the stork stand in circuit 3.

affectionincoldclimate · 24/09/2018 20:07

@OublietteBravo those storks are right bastards. Tip (which she actually doesn't give) is to have the knee of the standing leg slightly bent, just a smidgeon, enough to engage your thigh muscles. It's apparently the way to do it. I used to lock my knee and it was just really uncomfortable.

clearsommespace · 24/09/2018 20:11

Hurrah affection and Bravo oubliette. That's amazing? Did you manage in high impact? I like the stork exercises (with unlocked knee). There's another one in L3.

OublietteBravo · 24/09/2018 21:37

Yes. I managed it following Shelly (without modifying, without resting). I’m very proud of myself.

clearsommespace · 24/09/2018 21:45

You are hard-core!

Ripped L2 Day 7 done.
I quite enjoyed L3 despite the hideous duck walk.
L4 next.

My bloody cold is back Confused
Absolutely knackered again and feeling rubbish. Checking in with sodding yoga (even if I love it I'm missing Jillian)

Well done everyone else! You keep making me want to get back on the wagon ASAP and for that I'm grateful.

OublietteBravo · 26/09/2018 19:16

I did Ri30 L2D2 yesterday (but forgot to post), and today I did 30DS L3D2.

Hope you feel better soon affection - I had a really horrible cold about a month back which took ages to shift.

Sturmundcalm · 26/09/2018 20:24

L3D5 of 30day shred - running way behind as i chose to walk at the weekend when the weather was fabulous. Had meant to try and finish by the end of this month which is now exceptionally unlikely as next couple of days are exceptionally long work days...

hope your cold shifts properly affection

affectionincoldclimate · 26/09/2018 23:23

Thank you both.

Checking in with 30 mins of yoga while cheering on your from the sidelines!

clearsommespace · 27/09/2018 08:01

Oh that's a bummer affection. Hope you'll be fighting fit soon.
Rest day yesterday and have just done Ripped L4. I prefer this level to L2 and L3.

When I fast-forwarded through the other day I thought it was relaxation at the end but it's more of a pep talk.

OublietteBravo · 27/09/2018 19:45

Ri30 L2D3 - I’m actually quite enjoying this level.

clearsommespace · 28/09/2018 07:19

I think I would enjoy L2 if I didn't find the plank cardio circuit so tough!
I thought I felt fine after L4 but when I started again today, I found my upper arms were complaining when I held them above my head. (Didn't hang any curtains or paint any ceilings yesterdayGrin).
Anyway I pushed through and realised that JM doesn't do the behind the back arm stretch in the cool down. I added it in so fingers crossed I won't feel so achey tomorrow.

Checking in with more yoga. Cold still here (as is DD's 18 months sleep regression Sad) but I've taken time off work and just taking it easy. Watching this thread though as I will join you the moment I can.

Well done everyone. Love watching everyone move through the levels! So satisfying.

Anyone seeing results yet?

clearsommespace · 28/09/2018 19:06

I can feel myself getting stronger and I feel more energetic. I don't measure or weigh or photograph so no statistics.
Hope the time off work does the trick.

30DS L3D3. This level doesn’t seem so bad...

OublietteBravo · 29/09/2018 09:40

Ri30 L2D4. I’m planning on having a rest day tomorrow. I’ve had a pretty good week exercise wise.

Waitingonasmiley42 · 29/09/2018 19:19

Hello. I disappeared because I started running longer distances.

Back again but just doing 30 day shred again because I can’t find an option to get ripped in 30 apart from DVD. How is everyone else viewing it?? 30 day shred I bought from Amazon Prime and just watch from the app on TV.

clearsommespace · 30/09/2018 07:38

Welcome back!
I'm using an old fashioned DVD.
Did Ripped L4D3 today. All being well I should finish by the end of the week.

I have just ordered 6 week 6 pack to try afterwards.
