I need to check in more often 🙈🙈 got so much to write. Brace yourselves for the essay length response 😂😂
Reastie I'm so so glad it went well! I can't imagine the paranoia after being through what you've been through. I think you're doing amazingly well through all that sickness. You trooper! Don't think about your weight too much right now. Just focus on getting past these first three months and hopefully after that the nausea will subside. Then you can get back on to eating sensible stuff. One day at a time and all that clichè phrase stuff 😂 thanks for the encouragement, I am definitely going to take it super easy and not be too hard on myself. Breaks are ok (I have to keep reminding myself).
Purple I had GD too! Good thing too really as I was eating for... well... six rather than two! It was depressingly boring and all I wanted to do was stuff my face 😂😂 I really appreciate the gentle encouragement there... I think, for once, I am going to do it right and really ease back into it. Your yoga suggestion makes it a much smaller hurdle to get back on it. Well done on your run!! My neighbour encouraged me to go to the gym with her at 6am (a while ago now). I almost cancelled on her the first time but the rest of the day I felt bloody awesome so I kept going for a while. Unfortunately, my body just doesn't function in the mornings 😂😂
Roman oooh yes, Country Heat! I will defo give that a try! 😂😂 might give it a go tonight. See how it feels 😄😄 well done on finishing Liift. We all have miserable fat days
. I think it's easy to keep thinking of our goals and get disheartened we aren't there yet. All too often we forget how far we've come. Sometimes our inspiration can come from thinking about the latter. Look at old pics and remember how far you've come. Think about how much fitter you are. We also live in a society where we can get pretty much anything we want in an instant. I am guilty of this. If I don't have a six pack after 4 weeks (which I never do) I get annoyed at myself. And I don't know why when it's such an unrealistic desire. I try and remind myself that changes are more likely to stay permanent the longer it takes to get there.
I am with you on the wanting to be petite sometimes. I wish I was slender and all but I never have been. I've always been built a bit sturdier than others. Try and flip it round though. What are the positives of your slightly bigger build? For me, I can reach higher up shelves 😂 I can also flatten someone on the rugby field. I can leg press a ton of weight. I'm not going to break in half if the wind blows too hard 😂😂 there are benefits to being sturdy 😃 I totally get where you're coming from though.
Yum yeah I will let you all know 😃 I'm hoping Country Heat will be loads of fun even if I do look like a right numpty 😂😂 you'll get back into it too. It's this miserable weather... just want to snuggle up on the sofa with a hot chocolate and hibernate. I always struggle in winter. Well done on your workout though! Rolley burpees... hmmm... sounds interesting.
I think I'm going to set myself some SMART goals. I'm also going to buy one of those 5 minute journals that everyone raves about. I think it'll be good to do now the winter months have set in.
