Reastie well done on the run, impressive time for a 5k. My fastest one was still over 30 minutes
running is so not my thing!!
yum I'm always up for a workout challenge. 52 workouts between now and Christmas should easily be doable - it's 4 a week right? Perfect for Liift! I did a few of the Shift Shop ones a while back and quite enjoyed them but I think I avoided the cardio ones as they looked too hard
The abs workout is really good to add on to other workouts (think it is about 15-20 minutes long).
Have you seen the new Shaun T workout that is coming soon (in the New Year I think) - it involves 20 minute workouts, a step and just body weight exercises! The test group is just starting (Tania from T25 is doing it so worth following her on Facebook for sneak peeks etc). Don't think it will be for me though as I love weights!!
So, started the last week of Liift 4 yesterday
I really don't want it to end as it is honestly the first full programme that we have done where it has never once felt like a chore. We have actually wanted to do the workouts even if we were knackered and couldn't be arsed. Think I am going to cry on Saturday when we do the last one!! He gets all the cast together for the final one aswell which is a nice touch. I think we might just restart it as you can keep progressing with it so that will time in nicely with all of you who are starting it next week
Might invest in some heavier dumbbells so that we can shift it up on some of the exercises.
Loved the Christmas Eve workouts we did although I am sure mine was a walk as I didn't have time to do one between visitors etc but we always go for a long walk on Christmas Eve.
So my friend who is a BA instructor has sent me a message saying that it is national free fitness day (or something) tomorrow so there is a free BA class at the gym I used to go to. On one hand I am tempted as I love BA so much but, on the other hand, I don't really want to venture back into the gym as I am so much unfitter and fatter than I used to be and will see so many people from when I was a member
I used to be a 'front row' kind of person and now I am a definite 'back row/shadows' kind of person
