I've been variously out drinking, away for work, suffering with a virus and demotivated. And also moved dd1 out to uni.

My leg is still gammy and I have a physio appointment on Wednesday.

However I went in and did a boxing class today and I'm hopefully back on it. I need to be. I'm getting ready which means I need to lift heavy shit.

How are you?

Hello RJ - great to have you back! It's amazing how life gets in the way, isn't it? I hope your DD is having a great time at uni.

I'm pleased with myself because I actually managed 5 days of exercise this week (just done BFBM). I'm more or less on track for number of days, but behind on number of hours. There is no way I will hit 150h by the end of the month!

Despite this, I'm definitely having at least one rest day this weekend it's my birthday on Sunday. Other than that I'm busy with work/children and revising for an exam in October.

I'm behind on days but stil well within the realms of doing it.

It's good to be back, I feel rubbish not training then I get sad and eat more and feel more rubbish. I was sore yesterday so didn't train but I'm back on it.

I wish I could get this leg sorted and get back out jogging though.

I think I'm on a roll again. I have classes Tuesday Thursday and possibly Friday, plans to nip in train quickly after work on Wednesday before I go see nick cave (😃) and a session planned for Saturday. Dh is running a half marathon Sunday so I'll have that off this week.

Now oub I need shouted at if that doesn't happen!

I feel your pain RJ - exercising was much more painful after my holiday. It took me at least a couple of weeks to be able to do a Jillian DVD without feeling like I was going to die.

Didn't manage today. Got held up in with again and had tickets for nick cave tonight(who was amazing)

Today's physio appointment didn't go well. I'm hugely overcompensating for my left side including when I'm training and as a result shoulders are out of alignment/ leg is too tight this the Achilles problem and my calf muscle on my left is one full inch smaller than the one on the right (we measured)

So I may need to strip back my training as well - not less just different. Hmmm.

Ouch - that's a painful sounding list! I'm pretty sure my calves are different sizes - although maybe not by an inch. I must measure them at some point.

Back to cardio this evening: BFBM. I'm feeling particularly sweaty - time for a shower!

Well done oub. I'm doing all my stretches several times a day and as a result I'm in agony. I can't get my coach on her phone and I don't know how to proceed with training. Pissed off and no further forward.

Don't push yourself too hard RJ - you don't want to make things worse.

6W6P L1 this morning. Which finally takes me past the 3/4 point on my 200 hour target (about a week late).

Tomorrow and Monday will be rest days (and probably Tuesday too since I have an exam).
