In good news I FINALLY did a hammer and chisel w/o in the front room. I felt like I had lost a lot of strength though.

Reastie I will prob try and get my 30 workouts done over xmas hol now, still only on 7 (I think) out of 30 -19 days to go so that is almost impossible unless I double up a lot, but if I change the challenge until the kids go back to school that should be a bit more doable 4/5 workouts a week. There is NO WAY I would workout on Christmas day though - that would be just wrong. A nice crisp walk might be ok though.

Roman do you have a link for clubbercise that sounds brilliant!!

Ok so speaking of Christmas gifts, I got a bonus something for dd from Boden this . It arrived today and was nearly half price (DEF1 I think gave extra 20% off the already reduced fleece). It is so so soft! It's like a teddy bear! She will look a little bit like the Cheshire Cat but I know she'll love it as it's so soft. Passing it on to you should you all be interested.

BA class today. Loved it as ever.

Roman that sounds like my dream workout class - a workout with light sticks and Christmas music? I've died and gone to heaven!

reastie that coat looks fantastic - shame I only have boys Xmas Grin Have to say I bought them both a hoody a couple of years ago that was fleecy inside and they were amazing. Looked fab and easily lasted at least 2 years even though they wore them all the time.

yum sorry, the Clubbercise is a class, not on the Internet. You can Google where they are and it shows classes local to you. Yep I honestly did feel like I had died and gone to heaven - the normal class is great but throw in some Christmas cheesy songs and I am totally in my element!

Lovely hoodie Reastie, obviously popular as my 2 girls are the sold out sizes, not that they need more presents but I can't resist checking a bargain! I love it when they are in snuggly soft jumpers like that, when I hug them it is like hugging a teddy Grin

Roman it really sounds like a brilliant class - if I HAD to do a workout on Christmas day that sounds like the one to choose.

w/o 8 cardio Insanity M 30. Felt really awful doing this, thought it was just aches from h&c yesterday but even my muffin top was aching so think it may be also tiredness and general aches!

Yay you’re back on it poppy! Cardio max30 is a shock to the system isn’t it?

I’ve had a terrible workout week this week. Bad transport problems so have been late 2 nights so no workout. I did walk 4miles each day though so not all bad. Managed sweat intervals today which was good. Hoping can do a workout tomorrow and both days of weekend then will be 5 for the week. Plan for Xmas is to do my normal workouts but nothing on Xmas day. Maybe a run on Boxing Day to shift some turkey?

Am having the same problem as all of you and eating a bit too much and too many starchy carbs. I find it hard not to eat like that when it’s cold. I need to stop and get a grip!

T25 Upper focus was one of the ones I have had on a 3 weekly cycle for the last few months so I am trying to swap that out Xmas Grin

Yumy I bet a week or so of m30 and you'd be maxing out a lot later, it's just a shock to e system when you do something so different to what you're used to.

I noticed in my BA class yesterday whilst everyone was doing a plank based abs move about half the class had awful form. Think more of a downward dog with bums up in the air. I really wanted to shout straight back, bums down, head in line with spine like tony h bb people tell me. The instructor was ding it fine but it made me wonder I reckon I'd be just as likely to get an injury at a class than doing home workouts. I should add I wasn't twisting myself into terrible form to notice all this at that moment, I was on my back modifying to a completely different abs move because of shoulder.

Reastie it is interesting, I think the BB dvds are pretty good on drilling in form. I think I can do a plank, but I actually find downward dog really hard - can't imagine doing it by accident.

Oooh Roman you have made so much progress and could still do the challenge! I have been a saddo and checked back and I think that was actually w/o 9 for me.

What is it that you find hard about downward dog poppy? It’s odd that it is difficult for you but a plank isn’t.

Autumn is the best for drilling form. Working out how to do a squat correctly was a game changer for me.

So I didn’t manage my Friday workout due to a bit of a domestic disaster which then took up the day. Nothing serious. Did max30 yesterday and was hoping for a run today but we’ve woken up to snow so might do another dvd instead.

Xmas is starting in this house today - mince pies, tree up etc. Lovely Xmas Smile.

DH's plank always looks like a downward dog tbh - I call it 'tenting' where he sticks his bum in the air 😂

purple hope you have a fun day - absolutely love this time of year! We put our tree up last weekend and it puts me in such a good mood 😊

Had 2 rest days so had to double up today - much to DH'S disgust! We have just done Pyramid followed by Pilates Fix which was quite a good combination. So 17/30 workouts done with 14 days left...

I just can't get myself into a v!! Think it is probably to do with leg length or something? I am not sure but I feel like my back stays straight. I need to bend my knees to do it.

Christmas tree up here too!

Work out on fri but nothing since but I think I burned a lot of cals keeping warm making a snowman Grin

Hope domestic problem all sorted Purple.

Poppy in piyo downward dog is the rest pose from other moves!

Did body attack on secret site yesterday as too icy for running this week end. Today tried body jam on the site but didn't really enjoy it which is weird as it's the kind of thing I'd usually like. It wasn't challenging enough and too much hip movement for me.there was also one song where I just didn't get the moves at all which make sure me really frustrated. I got 2/3 way through and gave up Blush. I think it's probably the kind of thing you have to do a few times and one you get it it's more fun. The only good thing was there was a dance to the backstreets back song which is always good value for dancing to Grin

Also feeling very festive here, went to a panto today oh yes I did oh no I didn't. One more week of work until I'm off for Christmas, can't wait!

I am not keen on the downward dog either - think that is one of the reasons I dislike piyo as you spend so much time in that position! Much prefer child's pose!

I have done Body Jam a few times at the gym many years ago but it wasn't for me. I always thought you needed quite advanced dance ability to not look bloody stupid and I don't have that 😕 OTOH, Clubbercise requires no dance ability at all as it is more aerobics than dance so much more my thing.

Thermo I looked up clubbercise near me but alas only two near me and they are both 8pm which is too late for me.

Rubbish week this week, only the two week end workouts but been very busy and out late last night. If I can cope with the pace of my busy week got BA class first thing tomorrow so at least I should do 3 workouts. Will do better next week when's I'm on holiday though.

I’ve had the same experience for the last 2 weeks reastie and have not got all my workouts in. Just 2 weeks out of routine has made a difference to the exercise habit - I was very tempted to just bin the workout tonight but I didn’t in the end. Did 21dfx upper. Ow. My biceps!

Have moved stuff around to fit in a Xmas tree so now I have to work out in front of a radiator on max. It was a bit hot!

Did a double tonight of Flat Abs Fix and then Clubbercise so my total is 20/30 with 12 days to go.

Still trying to decide whether to give 80 day obsessed a go in the new year. Anyone else fancy it?

Oh well done for getting your workout in Purple. Those ones count the most. Tree eating into my workout space too and the ornaments jangle when I exercise which is off-putting !!

Reastie 3 workouts at Christmas is very decent. I feel like Christmas and being healthy are not very compatible, tempting food, more to do, more socialising ....

It does feel a struggle for me at the moment I genuinely am finding it hard to be motivated and fit in. If I got up earlier the morning would be fine (although I do worry I might piss the neighbours off and they would be too polite to complain).

Inspired by your T25 Roman I did alpha cardio this morning - was a lot harder than expected. I think given space and lack of motivation for equipment I am going to stick with T25 for a while.
