Did Total Warrior yesterday. Was hard work but very well organised - really recommend if you like mud and challenging yourself!

Won't be doing another until I have done more climbing and got over my fear of heights. Going to focus on running for a while but will continue weights as well.

I'm having a rest day. DD has given me her cold, and my head feels like it is stuffed with cotton wool. Hopefully back on it tomorrow.

I did my last practice session for saturdays competition tonight. It wasn't brilliant.

It'll be alright on the day...won't it??

No training Wednesday or Friday this week so I'm fresh for Saturday. I don't know why I do this to myself. I could have a nice easy life and here I am spending my middle age up to my armpits in freezing water or throwing weights round my head. Ffs.

I'm having tonight off and going to train with a friend tomorrow instead - light and fast but I want to keep her motivation going.

Sunday may be a hangover recovery day then Monday I am hitting it haaaaard.

Oub how come you're not teaching again this year and how do I get your job😂

Teaching is in addition to my normal day job. So yesterday I started work at 08:15, worked until 16:45, came home and then taught from 17:30 until 20:30. It's voluntary (although I do get paid a tiny bit - eventually - still waiting for last year's money).

I did it! Tough ten minutes and I had to get dh to pull my shoes off at the end as my left hand seemed to have stopped working properly. Made the full time though and got my rank 1 video ready to submit as well.

Next plan is to work for a ten minute set with the 20kg. But today is for lying in bed with a slight hangover feeling pleased.

How's everyone's weekends?

I was just too tired to exercise on Friday, and I couldn't face Jillian after a day of shopping for school uniform yesterday.

However, I've already done NMTZ today, so hopefully I'm back on track.

I did all the school uniform shopping on line this year - apart from shoes which I sent dh to get fitted.

It was a revelation oub.
