Right. I eventually worked up enough motivation to exercise. I've just done 30DS L3D1 (think I might regret using the 3kg weights) & 6W6P L2D5.5 (wimped out and went back to 1kg weights)

I've given up for a few days. Up four times with children last night so any will to do anything tonight is gone out the window. I've a long liquid lovely lunch with some friends tomorrow so hopefully I'll be in a fit state for my inflatables run with dd on Saturday Blush

I've given up for the moment. I was taking norehisterone(?) while I was away so I could use the pool and my periods arrived with a bit of a flurry and I feel wiped out. I should be fine by Monday, new week new start and five weeks till my next comp.

I did a 5k with dd today which was fun. It was an inflatable course, so 10 different obstacles to get over and through en route. Tbh, between the heat and my massive hangover (very long and lovely lunch yesterday Blush ) we walked a lot of it --
as did most other people so I didn't feel quite so bad!

Hope you're feeling back to normal soon, RJ. Enjoy your rest day tomorrow, Oubliette. I'm taking tomorrow off too but I anticipate a high step count as we're going to a theme park for the day. Love how the children get to dictate my birthday party Hmm Wink

Parkrun pb:-). 31.22 at slightly hilly course. Busy start so dodging slower people, caught 30 mins pacer at 1k, stayed with them to 4.2 and to be fair probably didn't cross the start for 30s. Just ran out of stamina at the very end although I did manage to run the whole way. Actually felt sick after the finish for the first time ever too. Then did some upper body weights, discovered I can only do 10 squats holding nearly 2yo DD and am about to do some abs now!

Well done you guys. Fantastic activity and I feel like a sloth. I have mostly sat in the couch napping, watching films and clutching my stomach and I'm now trying the alcohol remedy.

I will be fine by Monday, unless these hormones send my system totally loopy. I now have five weeks till the Scottish open so Monday is full speed ahead.

Kanye was that the race for life one by any chance?

Did my Kettlebell fitness class today, was not good. Hot sweaty and post holiday. I didn't actually spew but it did come close.

Well, that was a week that wasn't Blush I'm going to blame it on the cake mountain (I had 3 birthday cakes!), school holidays and little cousins coming on their "holidays". I have managed my 10k steps every day though so at least there's that.

Tomorrow is another day...

Ok I've been a bit better, did a brutal Kettlebell workout at home yesterday, I only have 8 and 12kg at home so I just kept going nonstop for 30 minutes through lifts - might need the carpet shampooed now...and back in with my MMA circuits this morning so feel a little more on it.
