I've walked 18k steps today. I'm not doing any more.

OublietteBravo · 18/07/2017 18:49

Ugh - feeling really sweaty tonight. It's certainly humid here. Just done 30DS L3D4 & 6W6P L2D7

That was the hottest Kettlebell class I've ever done. Swear was running down my arms and the instructor actually had a puddle. A proper needed mopped up puddle.

Oub do you know what we need to be at for the end of July to still be on target?

OublietteBravo · 18/07/2017 18:55

I think we need to do 20 to 21 days a month. So 145/146 would be on target for the end of July.

I'm on holiday from 18 Aug to 5 Sept, so trying to get ahead at the moment to compensate Wink

Oh that's good I am still on target then! Thanks.

OublietteBravo · 19/07/2017 20:08

A short session this evening: 6W6P L1.

Planned rest day here. It's very hot. I'm sticking to the couch as it is.

randomsabreuse · 20/07/2017 16:15

Just got a training plan for my half marathon in October from my running club coach. Scary stuff! Did my first 30DS in ages and decided to jump in at L2. Am now a dripping wet mess but it was doable apart from the V raises which are still dire. RC 10k later - hopefully it will cool down a little!

OublietteBravo · 20/07/2017 18:52

Ploughing my way through 30DS: this evening it was L3D5 (plus half of 6W6P L2 to take me to 45 mins). I really think L3 is easier than L2 - the logical conclusion of which is surely that rockstar jumps are less evil than v-raises Shock

Decent Kettlebell session tonight.

I think I may have solved my problem about the cost of my bodybuilding pt too. Found a new strength group at £5 a go. Bring it on.

OublietteBravo · 21/07/2017 19:05

I really didn't want to exercise this evening. I persuaded myself to do NMTZ - pretty pleased with that!

Rest day tomorrow.

I have been really good today.

Went for a run - short and slow, 3k, but my Achilles didn't get any worse which was good news.

Then I went to a new strength class and squatted so hard I barely managed to walk up the stairs when I got home 😬
Then I made a body coach recipe for dinner.

I'm rewarding my effort now with a gin and some BBQ bugles.

I've got a session at 10am with my Kettlebell coach which should be fun!

RJnomore1 · 22/07/2017 13:13

Well I'm buzzing that was a really good coaching session - I've got targets for my August and my November competitions now and I also think I can meet them.

I've found my focus again!

MMA circuits this morning. I'm in a fair bit of pain from last two days. Feel good now I'm home on couch but scared to try to stand up 😬

Hello everyone, looks like you're keeping the thread alive RJ and Oubliette!

Between juggling children, summer camps and work, along with my arm that seems to be getting worse instead of better, I haven't managed much in the way of exercise, but I did average 11.5k steps each day this week. I had two rest days, yesterday making ds's birthday cake, and today for his party. I'll be back walking for the next few days, then holidays on Saturday!

Oops - extra rest day yesterday Grin

Back on it today: 30DS L3D6 & 6W6P L2D8.

(115h 20min; 149/101)

Hi Kanye - impressive step count. I rarely make it over 10k.

I'm hoping I can keep this up; did astrebgth session today (I have a new 3x weekly programme) then hung around and stuck into a kettlebell sport session and some serious stretches. I'm feeling good and confident - I need to stay like this until 12th August for my competition. I will struggle to walk tomorrow after my big barbell squats but I can live with that!!

Yesterday was bedlam so didn't get much walking. Made up for it today with 16k steps so far!

RJnomore1 · 25/07/2017 21:38

TuesdY is Kettlebell class night 😁

Both ahead of schedule I think oub.

OublietteBravo · 27/07/2017 19:08

Rest day yesterday. I was teaching a tutorial from 17:00-20:00, so by the time I got home all I wanted to do was eat.

Back to normal this evening: 30DS L3D7 & 6W6P L2D8.5

(116h 55min; 151/99)

It feels great to have fewer than 100 sessions left until I reach my target Grin
